Visited here last night for dinner. Upon entry the sign says “please wait to be seated”. Workers are walking past the line of people not acknowledging anyone. Finally someone approaches and says “oh you can sit anywhere you’d like”. We sit down, and our server walks over. He doesn’t introduce himself and he asks what we want to drink. Drinks come back and he’s like “you ready to order?”. Ok cool, we order. My partners food comes out first which are super burnt lemon pepper wings ($16). He doesn’t like for me to send food back so I left it alone. The smothered fries were good ($10). Our server comes back over and tells me that my food is coming right out…. Well that takes another 12-15 mins so I’m just sitting here annoyed. Mine finally comes out and thankfully it’s hot or I would’ve been upset. We had to flag him down for refills which is unacceptable. After he brought those, I didn’t see him for the rest of the night. Well I should say I saw him, but he didn’t come back to the table. Too busy coughing and sneezing all over the place. How do you work in the industry and don’t bother taking yourself to the bathroom to get it together? We wait probably another 15 mins for the check and it never shows. I had to ask another server twice and he was clearly annoyed that his coworker wasn’t doing his job. The check finally came from someone who wasn’t our server. To our surprise there is a 18% service charge which we assumed was his tip. Tbh, he didn’t deserve the 18%. The wings ARE NOT worth the $16. My fried chx sandwich ($13) was good though. I understand this is a bar but service still needs to be decent. I tip well when it’s deserved. Retrain your staff or take them off of the floor. I thought about bringing our families here next trip, but we’ll pass and take our business elsewhere. $50 for really bad service and subpar food is crazy.

Service 0/5 Wings 1/5 Fries 4/5 Chx...

Staying overnight before a cruise so needed a place in walking distance. Looked like a great place a short walk away on a college football Saturday. Walked in and was happy to see games on many TV’s. There were 2 couples waiting ahead of us. After a few minutes I asked if anyone had spoken to them, and they said no. A server had passed several times and ignored us. Eventually the couple in front asked the server if we should seat ourselves and he replied that he can’t seat anyone but if they just sat down he would serve them. They decided to continue to wait. After way too much longer I walked to the kitchen to ask someone what was up. I couldn’t get anyone’s attention so I asked the bartender and she said we should continue to wait to be seated. I explained how long we had been standing there being ignored. She pointed at a guy walking up and said there’s the manager. He looked at me, turned his back, and began working at a terminal. I waited for him to finish until it became clear that he was also not interested is speaking to me. I went back to the front where there were now 10 people waiting. Also, directly in front of us was a booth with people that had finished their meal before we arrived and were still waiting for their check with zero interactions with a server. There were at least 2 tables and one booth available the entire time. After a few more minutes with servers still ignoring us and the manager standing at the terminal we gave up. If it’s that hard to seat us I thought the pace of the meal would be painful. Now after reading reviews I see it’s a trend and the restaurant provides the same response each time. They also add a required 18% gratuity which is probably the only way folks get tips with service like this. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day, but other reviews seem to have similar comments. Too bad because the menu...

Old Tom’s is a recurring staple while in Miami for work. They have a decent draft list (though mostly IPAs and standard domestics and they run out quickly), some house cocktails, a varied menu with tons of burgers to choose from, and the inside is pretty classy! It gives old sports bar vibes. It can get really busy during sports and pretty loud so hard to hear a group, but the atmosphere is fun. The wings were cooked very well but the sauce was a little weak? Not sure if that’s the right word…the flavor was delicious but it just wasn’t very strong. The tuna tataki is surprisingly very well seasoned and tender. Absolutely recommend (either as an app or salad!) The Mahi Mahi sandwich was decent, fried well, and the slaw was flavorful. The churrasco and ribeye were waaaay too overcooked. We ordered medium rare and it was cooked through with absolutely no pink, which was a shame cause it was seasoned well…but it was a very busy night and we didn’t find it worth the hassle to send it back (all 3 of us had our meats overcooked). The corn dog nuggets were absolutely delicious haha and finally, the pork nachos were pretty tasty as well! (We went there every other night for the week we were there so we got to try quite a bit on the menu). The servers were always nice and the music was always jamming (albeit loud). All in all, pricing is fair, if not cheaper than most of the restaurants nearby. If you’re in the area, you can’t beat a night...

Fun atmosphere, embraces the sports bar vibe and has a very friendly staff. Portion sizes are very large, and you will not leave hungry. But why the reduction of stars? Here's why: Even though the wait staff was very friendly, our waitress was higher than a kite. I mean, to each your own, but it effected her quality of service drastically. Next, the food: You will not go hungry at this establishment. However, on the particular evening we visited, they ran out of a lot of ingredients, resulting in several substitutes. Wheat bread instead of white for one. In addition, a lot of food was very bland as if it wasnt seasoned, or the key sauces and such that pulls the meal together was used very sparingly - resulting in one to two bites of flavor the rest was bland. Cesar salad was good...except that it was primarily a crouton salad with a a few lettuce flakes. Pulled pork? Very tasty but also very greasy like it was scraped from the bottom of the drippings pan. The positive? They know how to cook meat properly and to the proper temps / preferences. Cost: Prices are fair and the draft and bottled beverages are fair priced as well. Be leary of any hard alcohol (mixed drinks, shots, etc), this place is very proud of hard liquor and charges astronomical prices for it. Conclusion: If you are in one of the nearby hotels and hungry, not bad and it's not McDonalds. However, better choices are to be had.

We’ll to start it off we gave it two chance’s, big mistake! When we went there first, we seated ourselves and the waitress helped us fast and asked if we wanted a drink, so we asked for a drink menu so she brought one back and just ordered water initially, then after that we weren’t helped anymore, so we left after waiting over 30 minutes of not being waited on. Since there wasn’t many options for food in the area anymore because we waited so long, the other places closed and we decided to go back and just go to the bar and order food to go. We got our order in right away and the food was brought out very quickly, so we thought we were good… well not so much! When we got to the hotel to eat, we were eating and the hamburger didn’t taste so good, so stopped eating and looked at it, the hamburger was still raw and looked as if it was cooked for a few seconds, I couldn’t eat it after seeing that, it was tooo raw! (Actually a health violation.)Not sure if my boyfriends hamburger was done since his had other stuff on it and he was finished with his before I noticed, but he said his was off also! Not worth the $45 spent here.
