Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Miami Township

Yikes. After dinner we treated our teens to ice cream. Sadly we chose here🤦🏼‍♀️ They were actually pretty busy. Ordering felt like we were bothering the young lady working. The first, gotta love it was correct but the other two ice creams were so much smaller than what we ordered. The love it, what my daughter ordered was so small, the young lady actually put it into the like it cup inside the love it cup🧐😳... Like we wouldn't notice?! My husband ordered the gotta love it and, as you can see in the photo, it was the size of the love it. When we got to the register to pay, her lack of verbal communication was zero. 🤦🏼‍♀️ We told her what we got, without her asking but rather her just staring at us. We mentioned the last ice cream, the gotta love it that was the size of the love it and said well, this is supposed to be a gotta love it. She was visibly annoyed and stared at my husband. She asked the other worker to add more.. my husband said no thank you, please just charge us for the love it. Slight eye roll from the young lady. Again from her deminior, she was bothered. All while two customers were waiting for their online orders, the young lady working gave the wrong order to one customer then proceeded to argue with the other customer. Sadly, we do not recommend...

This visit was just to see if they made ice cream birthday cakes not really thinking they offered this service. I ended up ordering my daughter's birthday ICE CREAM CUPCAKES. I mentioned to the lady that it was a Frozen themed party so light blue and white frosting would be great. I was able to get any ice cream flavor to top the bottom layer made of cake. The layer of cake and ice cream sat in, to my surprise, an EDIBLE chocolate cupcake liner. When I picked up my order, another lady told me she noticed that it was a Frozen themed order, and decided to use special crystal like sprinkles instead of the normal multicolored sprinkles. These cupcakes were so delicious!! I didn't have to cut a cake or scoop ice cream. The ice cream cupcakes were a hit and everyone loved them. Thank you Cold Stone Creamery of Austin Landing for helping make my daughters birthday...

I love Cold Stone ice cream - normally. When my husband and I got there this evening about an hour before closing, there were 4 people ahead of us, all one family (adults/). One server was making a shake for someone, the other was serving this family ... v.e.r.y. s.l.o.w.l.y. The guy who made the shake made one order for the group. Eventually all 4 were served and it was our turn to order - almost half an hour after we got there. My hubby said, "Lets go, this is ridiculous" because the woman worker had started tidying things up as if it were closing time, which wasn't for half an hour!! This "service" was EXTRAORDINARILY HORRIBLE. NO stars for food because we never got any. No stars for service again, because we never got any. We had an excellent parking place. That was the only thing good...
