We probably consider ourselves foodies, ate there today, and will definitely return. Neither of us think there are a lot of really good places in the area for quality breakfast but this would definitely be one everyone should consider. Pretty sure this place would cut the mustard for both breakfast or brunch unless you have unrealistic expectations. Staff was very congenial and efficient, the menu checks a whole lot of boxes, the floor manager came by and checked to how everything was, our server was personable and attentive but not obsequious. We got the bacon sausage and lobster brie omelets and it would be hard to imagine either being prepared better, so definitely try those. My wife did order bacon only and it was still prepared bacon sausage but it was so tasty we didn't even care. They were both tasty, flavorful, and moist but not runny. Very good. The coffee was as good as anyone has a right to expect, a nice flavorful darker roast. I like 2 or 3 cups typically with cream and sugar and our server was on point with everything. My wife got a salted caramel cold brew cocktail and it was one of those things you wish would come in a pitcher it was so good. This is a very good recommendation for anyone looking for a very satisfying breakfast experience to start your day. We both observed the same things regarding what we wished might have been done a little differently, although neither were deficient enough to create a negative experience. The English muffins seemed like little more than an afterthought, but can anything really be done about that? We also sort of had an expectation that a place as nice as this would have grilled their home fries and maybe seasoned them with a little bit of sautéed onions and peppers instead of dropping the potatoes on the plate from the deep fryer. We'll wait a few extra minutes for that. On a more selfish note I like raw or turbanado sugar for my coffee, instead of refined, but it's not my restaurant so I'll get over it. Go and enjoy. You won't regret it. We left around 10am on Sunday and there was a pretty good wait by then so get there a little early. That being said, I feel the wait surely would...
Read moreI went in today around 11 am as I do usually once or twice a week. I always join the waitlist on Yelp to alleviate any wait times. The “live wait” said it was less than 5 mins but I still joined anyway because I know that can change. I put down 2 guests with a booster seat & booth. The app told me to arrive between 10:38 and 10:56. It checked me in and when I went there wasn’t a wait but only regular tables (not a booth like I requested). I asked the host how long would the wait be for a booth and she advised 30-45 mins. She then acted like she couldn’t find me on the waitlist then magically found me and said there wasn’t a booth request. I then asked for a manager who advised me that she was the general manager (last name is Burgess, first name I think was Amy, brown skin with black hair). She also looked on the computer and proceeded to argue with me about not being on the waitlist. 1 minute later I was found on the waitlist once again but without any special notes. She didn’t apologize, stated no one can wait in the inside (which is fine) and told me I could leave. She provided her name without a problem but is in no position to be a general manager. No apology, no regard for anyone. She acted extremely entitled and I’ve honestly never seen her there before and I’m there weekly. The manager I’ve seen walking around checking on tables is always super nice (she has should length blonde hair). I’m appalled at her nasty and smart attitude for no reason at all. I’m also appalled that she blatantly lied and said I wasn’t on the wait list and while I was pulling up my email and the app she then found me. I will never be back & am currently waiting on a return call. Her behavior as a general manager is beyond unacceptable and she doesn’t...
Read moreThis is my third time going to this location and has by far been the worst experience. The first time I went with co-workers and had a really nice experience. Our waitress AJ was amazing, although there was a long crazy wait- it was worth it, with the service we received from AJ and the food, which was delicious. The second time, I went with my family and we waited for a really long time again, then they sat us 4 at this tiny cramped table by the door which was very cold- after getting our drinks we discovered that there wasn’t enough room and asked to be moved, we were moved to a larger table but the hostess with the jet black hair stared at us the whole time and the waitress was terrible!! Finally, I decided to give it another try with my 10 year old son as the food is really good, was told there would be a 30-45 minute wait by the same rude hostess with jet black hair from last time. We waited about 20 minutes and we’re seated at a seat right by the door. It was a HORRIBLE experience because everytime customers would come in and out the door we would feel the very cold air. My son moved to sit against the wall but was still freezing cold. I have no idea why they would have seating right next to the entrance let alone sit a mother and her 10 year old child right by the door. So we were only there about 20 minutes, our food didn’t take long to come out and it was really good. The waitress Kisha was great but we ended our brunch early with to go boxes because it was entirely too cold to sit...
