Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Miami Township

So I'll be the first to tell you that as a distinguished manager myself in a big box retailer, that when I go out on a busy Friday night, I anticipate chaos and a positive buzz on full throttle! This location, Kylie (our waitress), Gibson (General manager on duty), and the male bartender (didn't remember his name) as well as everyone else we interacted with were nothing but positive, uplifting, and on their true A-Game tonight!

Between my wife and I, we've worked a total of 153 hours combined this week between our jobs, chemo treatments, and moving out my Mother-in-law of her apartment into an assisted living and storage situation. So to say that we were wanting a great break from adulting, we chose Milford Wings and Rings and we were so happy that we did!!

These folks know how to run a great atmosphere and restaurant to its fullest potential and we will be back again! My only hope is that Corporate Wings and Rings sees this, not only to congratulate those 3 wonderful employees, but also to KEEP THE SMOKED TRADITIONAL WINGS on their menu!! This is a trial item on test at this store, and I would put it up against Knock Back Knats in Downtown Cincinnati that charges $1 per wing. Not as big but so much more perfect when it comes to the snap, juiciness, and flavor of the wing! I chose the Medium Sweet Thai Chili flavor and even my wife that hates bones in her chicken ate a bite and said that she would order them! A++++++++ to the service...

Our service was decent, and the burger week burger was delicious. However, our bill was $22 and we left a tip. We were charged $50 for our meal. When I called to discuss this, the manager, Ashton was short with me and did not seem apologetic in the least. I explained that this was a splurge for our family & she just explained it as the server thought that the TOTAL was the tip. Seriously?!?! I've worked in restaurants for years, there should be protocols in place to check tips, and if you think you have been tipped over 100% of the bill--red flags should be flying. I went to the restaurant to get back the money in cash, as it would take several business days for it to get back into my account. A second manager explained that it was his sister who was the server and was "totally innocent." I completely understand that things happen, however, there should be restaurant rules in place so that this does not happen. In addition, an apology would have been greatly appreciated. Not only was my family out of money, but we also had to make a second trip to the restaurant and the customer service was awful. A simple I'm sorry and how can we make this right for you goes a long way. Definitely will encourage people not to go to...
