Not a complaint over the food, it was great. It’s about the service and atmosphere:. I arrived with my friend, place was completely empty. We sat in the middle of the bar, instantly she asked me if it was ok we sat at the table instead because her back was hurting. She knew I was going to order a bunch of food. (She doesn’t each seafood or any sushi) She asked the guy that sat us if it was okay to sit at the table instead. Mind you, we just sat down, no drinks yet; nothing. He gave her a look and said “okay” very weird.. we proceed to sit and I look behind me and he rolled his eyes over at us and said something to the chef and the guy laughed. Bill comes, I tapped, no questions, and he automatically says just letting you know the tip isn’t included so you leave something. I was so shocked and it’s just me and my friend. I gave the lowest and ran out. I felt so uncomfortable.

I ordered several nigiri, a crispy rice spicy tuna, and edamame. As a pescatarian who eats sushi multiple times a week, I have never encountered fish of such poor quality in my life. The fish smelled bad, the colors were unnatural, and the texture looked like something molded from playdough. The crispy rice spicy tuna tasted like flour and resembled salmon rather than tuna—it was bright orange, though who knows why. Even the toro looked dreadful. I’m fairly certain there was salmon in my nigiri, even though I never ordered salmon. The edamame was equally awful. This entire order was inedible and went straight into the trash. Truly disgraceful—food of this quality should not be served to humans. This establishment has no business being open. Close your doors and do something else.

I ordered takeout, The bliss box was great although the hamachi jalapeño roll was not up to par with what ive had from other restaurants. the spicy tuna was tiny and disappointing not as good as Moshi Moshi in regards to the flavor of the tuna and crispiness of the rice, the Sea Scallop Nigiri was tiny as well which is understandable because it was $9 but it was delicious, what really did it for me though was the horrible wait time (40 minutes for pickup) and the fact that they don't give you any wasabi & ginger with your order, soy sauce is all you get I've never seen that done before and im hoping that's not the norm. Other than the 2 major red flags the sushi was good

Bondi Sushi: A Taste of Modern Japanese in Miami Bondi Sushi, nestled in [mention the neighborhood in Miami], offers a fresh and modern take on Japanese cuisine. While the name might evoke images of Australian beaches, this restaurant focuses on delivering high-quality sushi and other Japanese specialties with a contemporary flair. My recent visit to Bondi Sushi left me impressed with both the quality of the ingredients and the creative presentation of the dishes. I started with the spicy tuna crispy rice, a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The crispy rice patties were perfectly fried, providing a satisfying crunch that contrasted beautifully with the creamy and spicy tuna topping. For my main course, I opted for a selection of nigiri and sashimi. The fish was incredibly fresh, melting in my mouth with each bite. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and the yellowtail, both of which were expertly prepared. The chef's attention to detail was evident in every piece, from the perfectly seasoned rice to the delicate cuts of fish. Bondi Sushi also offers a variety of specialty rolls, which looked tempting, though I stuck with the more traditional offerings on this occasion. Beyond the sushi, the menu also features a selection of other Japanese dishes, including appetizers, soups, and entrees. While I didn't try them on this visit, they looked equally appealing. The ambiance at Bondi Sushi is modern and stylish, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated dining experience. The restaurant is [describe the decor - e.g., sleek and minimalist, warm and inviting], making it a great spot for a casual dinner with friends or a special occasion. The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for fresh, high-quality sushi in a stylish setting, Bondi Sushi is definitely worth a visit. While it might not be the most traditional Japanese restaurant, it offers a delicious and modern take on classic dishes. Highlights: Fresh, high-quality fish: The sushi and sashimi were exceptional. Creative presentations: The dishes were beautifully plated. Modern and stylish ambiance: A great spot for a casual or special occasion. Attentive service: The staff was friendly and efficient. Overall: Bondi Sushi provides a delightful dining experience for sushi lovers in Miami. The combination of fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and a stylish atmosphere makes it a standout among the city's many sushi...

A Delightful Sushi Experience at Bondi Sushi!!!

Bondi Sushi offers an exquisite dining experience that stands out in a sea of sushi restaurants. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a sleek, modern ambiance that balances sophistication with comfort. The staff is warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making you feel welcomed and well taken care of.

The sushi itself is nothing short of exceptional. Each piece is meticulously crafted, and the freshness of the ingredients is apparent in every bite. I was particularly impressed by their signature rolls, which not only looked beautiful but were an explosion of flavors. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the balance of flavors—from the perfectly seasoned rice to the delicate sauces—demonstrates the skill and passion of the chefs.

I recommend trying the omakase experience, where the chef’s selection shines with creative and refined offerings. The variety in textures and tastes is remarkable, and it’s clear that Bondi Sushi places a strong emphasis on both quality and innovation.

Beyond the sushi, their appetizers and sides are worth mentioning. The edamame was a simple yet perfect start, and the miso soup had a rich, comforting depth that made it memorable. Pairing my meal with one of their sake offerings added an extra level of enjoyment.

Whether you’re a sushi aficionado or someone looking for a refined yet approachable dining experience, Bondi Sushi delivers on all fronts. It’s a place I’ll be returning to time and again, and I highly recommend it for anyone craving fresh, top-tier sushi in a chic yet...

1 star - Charged for wrong table's food, no refund given

The AC wasn't working so we had to sit outside. Food quality was good and reasonably priced, but they have serious billing problems/customer service issues.

Our server M*o charged us an inflated amount for "another table's food". When I asked for a receipt, he said "it's high, huh?" but wouldn't show the original charges. He admitted the mistake and promised a full refund of the inflated amount with a corrected receipt, but kept the ~30% tip which was calculated on the inflated amount.

The restaurant was nearly empty with only one other tables occupied, so there's no excuse for not knowing what a table of two actually ordered versus $200+ worth of sushi.

It's been a month with no refund despite their initial word and four separate calls. Each time I'm told the manager isn't available or get put on indefinite hold. When I call back, the phone goes to busy signal.

They admitted their mistake but won't make it right. Check your receipt carefully - they may charge you for other tables' orders or add extra items. If you catch it, check the tip amount. My family won't be back, and I will be disputing with my bank after five failed attempts to resolve this with the...
