Sentral Wynwood | Furnished Apartments Miami — Hotel in Miami

I've been staying at Sentral for some time now and have loved every moment of it! The location, of course, is unbeatable—right in the heart of Wynwood—but there is so much more than just location that makes this place feel the perfect spot to dock for a weekend or several months:

The people are unmatched. From the leasing office to maintenance, housekeeping and the experience managers/concierge, the folks that work here are absolutely lovely, kind and so helpful. They truly care about those living here or even staying here for a short time and want you to have the best experience possible. David A.--in-house Miami expert, chief of good times and overall wonderful human has been key to making Sentral feel like home. He's a joy to chat with and always goes above and beyond to be helpful and kind to all residents, guests and staff. If you need a recommendation on food, activities, events, etc., he's your go-to! David and the other experience managers/concierges (shoutout to Jorge and Jack—they're also awesome!) have gone above and beyond during my stay here and I know I can always trust in them to look out for me and my pups (and my many packages 😉).

I would be remiss if I didn't talk about the building-- the building and units are outfitted with modern fixtures with a Wynwood industrial-ish vibe (not "modern" like the many high rises you'll look at with cabinetry and flooring from the early aughts). And the units are solid--so well-insulated from noise from other units that I don't think I have heard my next door neighbors once over the months I've been here. And given Sentral's location in a quieter area of Wynwood, you don't get the heavy night-out crowd noise. The building is also very pet-friendly and with the Sentral being a combo of short stays/rentals/long-term stays, it's always a nice mix of professionals and business travelers peppered in with some vacationers (typically couples and small families). The amenities are also great—I've never experienced overcrowding in the gym and the pool/roofdeck area is a spacious indoor/outdoor space where you can chill out or host guests or attend one of the many events that the Sentral team hosts. The kicker – and this always impresses my friends that visit – is because it is a mix of short stays/rentals by design, the upkeep of areas is just all out superior to other properties-- common areas are always clean and tidy and maintenance is on point. I've only had one reason to call maintenance (my blinds got stuck—user error) and the person on duty that day was at my door within minutes. That doesn't sound like much but stay in a hotel or a high rise down the street with a ton of influencers here for a good time, not a long time and you'll come to appreciate not having to step over broken fixtures and the remnants of the night before on a Monday morning.

So happy I made the jump and moved to Sentral—did I mention I did so sight unseen and how great Reem in management is as well?! (Well I did, and she is!) Thanks, y'all. And David, I'll be seeing you later for some...

The search began 6 months ago for a place to stay in Miami’s trendy Wynwood district for a 9-night stay, after completing MI5 level searches and reviewing numerous reviews, I decided on Sentral Apartments in the heart of Wynwood with walkable access to all the nearby restaurants bars and shops.

On arrival check-in was simple and with the assistance of Jorge on the front desk I was checked in within 5 minutes, who was able to bypass the automated check-in terminal. I was issued with 2 key cards and quickly accessed the 4th floor and checked into Apt 409, unfortunately I found that the lock on the door was not operating correctly and not locking the door on exit or entry. I reported this to Jorge on the front desk and he promptly arranged for maintenance to attend and resolve the issue.

They were unable to do this so it was necessary to relocate me to another room on the 4th floor, which Jack and Stephanie facilitated promptly and with minimal fuss and disruption, whilst apologising for the inconvenience caused. I was now settled in and able to enjoy this amazing apartment, building and location in the heart of Wynwood.

The building is modern with an excellent gym on the 2nd floor and business suite and pool on the 6th floor, the lifts can be a bit slow at busy time so the stairs will help keep those step counts up during your stay. The rooms were nicely appointed and the three things which are always super important during my stays are the 1) Comfortable Bed/Pillows 7/10 (pillows too soft for me), 2) Water Pressure of the shower 7/10, 3) Kitchen utensils and appliances 7/10 (lacking in utensils, no bottle opener!).

There is a Trader Joe’s supermarket a 10 min walk away in Midtown and a large Target store a further 5 mins away on 36th Street in Midtown for all your food, pharmacy and provisions. There is also a very reasonably priced snack shop in the Sentral Reception with a contactless payment point, very convenient for those late-night cravings, there is also well stocked vending machines near the gym, I personally would have located them on the 6th floor near the business suite and pool deck.

Where Sentral does score 10/10 is in the fantastic customer service that we received during our stay, the front desk team Jorge, Stephanie and Jack were all super helpful and responsive to any requests we made during our fantastic stay. I had forgotten to log out of my YouTube account in my apartment and realised 3 days after checking out, I contacted Jorge and not only did he log me out but sent me a WhatsApp video of him completing the log out procedure, I mean come on where have you seen this level of epic customer service, thanks again Jorge you are. Sentral Superstar.

I fully enjoyed the location of Sentral and the staff who made up for any of the minor shortcomings of the apartments and will definitely stay here again when visiting Miami, thanks guys for...

If Google had more stars to give I’d give them. Here is why:

It’s an amazing building with an impressive set of amenities serviced by an even more talented team giving you the best stay you could hope for.

We live in one of the furnished 1 Bed+den units and pay a very reasonable rent. The cost to stay here comes with a ton of value. The shared spaces are clean and the concierge or experience team exceed any and all expectations I promise. These folks in particular deserve shoutouts for their dedication, kindness, and skill.

Rodolfo in maintenance. Lightening fast turn around on repair requests and a friendly disposition that has you feel at home.

David, Stephanie, and Alice. These three own the day to day with such composure and grace. I appreciate the level of service and care they give. It really makes my morning to come by the lobby have a coffee and chat.

David Algarin I’ve never seen what you do in any other building; David is exceptionally skilled at his job and always a light of kind good natured energy while juggling incoming weekend guest arrivals and the longer stay tenants needs. All with ease.

Jack Eller owns the creation of guest and tenant experiences from the fine touches of seasonal decor to gift wrapping stations and community happy hours. We attend them all we love love love to do so.

Lauryn Pleasant - we wouldn’t be here without her. It’s more than the professionalism and white glove care throughout our leasing process too. Lauryn is around throughout the day and quick to have a conversation about anything.

Sentrals app and payment portal is very tech forward and super easy to use.
