Botanica Miami — Restaurant in Miami

In short, Diego saved me. Our company ordered lunch for 15 people via DoorDash. Somehow DoorDash dropped the ball and Botanica never received my order, which was placed 24 hours in advance. I showed up at Botanica in a slight panic at 10am to see if/how they could prepare so many meals on such short notice for a 12pm delivery. Not only did they confirm they would be able to fulfill the order, Diego offered to deliver it himself so I didn't have to come and pick it up. Problem solved and super fast. I walked in , didn’t see menus so asked for one. Was told they don’t have any more menus, they’re both (yes, only 2 menus) outside on a table that is dining.

Attendant didn’t even go out or offer to get one from that table , even though she went out multiple times to serve food. She expected me to hunt a menu. What type of incompetent and lazy business is ok with this employee?

I have seen very good reviews but I guess they didn’t experience what I did. The lady on that morning didn’t speak any English. First, we ordered two coffee and she made one of them with something missing. Secondly, I ordered the food to take away but she brought them to the table although I repeated “TO GO” loud out a few times.
