I ordered two whoppers and two chicken sandwiches. Your screen states that buy one whopper, get the other one for a dollar. One chicken sandwich for the same prices. The ring me up for each sandwich. When I saw the price, I was charged double, instead of getting one for one dollar. When I told management, she sent me back to associate. The female associate told me I had to specify that I was buying one and get one for a dollar. I need explain myself better. Like if I need explain that I am buying two sandwiches. You would think I am getting the the deal. So I ask if they were going to fix it, they didn't bother to try. Plus it took me over 30 minutes to get thru the drive thru. This is the second time I had a problem in this Burger King King store. Never will i shop him again, plus I am going to write a bad review online. The worst ever! The worst customer service ever! I feel even embarrassed having to write this, but I have lived in this country for years and I have never seen anything like this. There is an older gentleman who is a manager and is in charge of the night shift, working with young people and even minors. I believe his age and position deserve respect, but what I witnessed was unacceptable.
Late at night, I stopped by to buy food after finishing my shift at work, since I live nearby. The manager was the one who attended me at the drive-thru window, and he was clearly under the influence of alcohol, with a strong smell of alcohol on his breath. He did not appear to be in proper condition to be working.
I truly hope that appropriate measures are taken, because this is a serious issue—especially considering that minors may be present in the workplace. I got to the drive-thru, placed my order & everytime they would say “give me a second” this happened 3 times. I redeemed a reward for a free item & I purchased a coke & they tell me my total is $9. I asked how so if I only ordered two items & one was free. Then Chris rudely said “you should’ve told me from the beginning that you had a code!” & so I responded that he should’ve asked me from the beginning if I had a code to redeem.
