We sat down and our waiter left us some coffee for the table. After 20 minutes we were finally able to take our orders but not before telling us that the coffee we did not order and was brought to the table would be charged to us... Nice. Anyway after another 20 minutes we were finally able to get, wait for it, not our food lol but yes waters for the table. A staple in any restaurant in the United States of America, some simple water took 40 minutes to arrive. But the non complimentary coffee that no one asked for was brought immediately upon sitting down. Also they never took our menus. We had to request for them to be removed from the table.
Finally after 1 hour the food began to arrive. 2 plates only though. The rest of the party of 10 people continued to wait. Both people who had their plates brought out finished their food and we continued our staring contest with each other. 10 minutes later 3 more plates arrived. They ate. The rest stared. Finally, the lone survivors (cause it takes some survival skills to watch others eat while you starve) got their food. But, not to our surprise, the maple syrup was extra and comes in an extremely small bottle. So of course we asked for more. Buuuuut of course, there was no more maple syrup. Until we asked a different server, and we found out that our own server is just lazy and lied about that. Because guess what? More maple syrup came to the table. They must have tapped into their maple tree to get that sappy goodness.... Or our server lied.
Furthermore, the last water finally arrived to the table after another 1 and a half hours. No refills for anyone that is probably extra lol we had to resort to sucking the ice because as is customary in our visit our waiter was nowhere to be found.
Also, worth note the chocolate chip pancake has just that! One chocolate chip! Not what we expected but hey they did say chocolate chip pancake not chocolate chips.
NOW for the check. It was a difficult task, because our waiter was harder to catch than an oiled pig or rare pokémon (so make sure you bring your masterball). But we were finally able to get a hold of her. And played the waiting game until the check finally came. Which was also wrong because they sent me the same check 2x one was a "reprint." but I was not going to wait another 20 minutes for the other check so we left because we guessed that they just suck at their job and that's how they run their business. Next thing you know we get a call some time later asking us to come back and pay the other receipt that was never brought to us. They said that they brought it to us but never did. Honestly. Horrible time here. I'm not going to drive back to the place for their mistake and lackadaisical work ethic.
Aside from all that the food was excellent so I will probably come again but to a DIFFERENT LOCATION. Because as an overall experience this place was horrendous when it came to service and wait times.
Honorable mention: this is one of the locations that does not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at First Watch in Miami, Florida, and it was an experience worth sharing. The restaurant, known for its fresh and wholesome breakfast offerings, lived up to its reputation.
The first thing that caught my attention was the "Watermelon Wake-Up" drink. This refreshing beverage was a delightful way to start the day. The natural sweetness of the watermelon was perfectly balanced, providing a rejuvenating and invigorating experience. It was clear that First Watch takes pride in their juice bar, using all-natural ingredients and juicing daily.
Next came "The Traditional" breakfast. This classic favorite was a hearty and satisfying meal. The quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the bacon was crispy, and the toast was fresh and warm. The side of fresh, seasoned potatoes added a comforting touch to the meal. It was a well-rounded breakfast that left me feeling satisfied and ready to take on the day.
What made the experience even more enjoyable was the fast service and friendly staff. The team at First Watch was attentive and efficient, ensuring that my meal was served promptly. Their friendliness added a warm and welcoming atmosphere to the restaurant, making the dining experience even more pleasant.
The menu at First Watch offers a wide variety of options, catering to different dietary needs and preferences. From healthier options to classic favorites, there's something for everyone. The restaurant's commitment to freshness and quality is evident in their offerings, making it a great choice for breakfast.
In conclusion, my breakfast at First Watch was a delightful experience. The combination of fresh, tasty food, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere earned it a well-deserved five-star rating. I highly recommend First Watch to anyone looking for a quality breakfast experience in...
Read moreWe had a really frustrating experience here, mostly due to how we were treated upon arrival. There are only two "To Go" parking spots out front. As we pulled in, a couple parked in one of them and walked toward the door. An employee named Miguel was standing inside and opened the door for them, clearly seeing they had just parked in a To Go spot. So we figured it was fine to park there as well, especially since we had luggage and didn’t want to park far.
But when we got out and walked up, Miguel immediately asked if we were picking up. When we said no, he just pointed at the sign. We asked why the couple who walked in before us wasn’t asked to move, and he claimed he “didn’t know anything about that.” We explained it was the same couple he let in, and he very sarcastically replied, “Thankyou for telling me!, I wasn’t aware of this.”
We ended up moving the car and going in anyway only because we were on a tight schedule, but the energy was already off. When we followed up, Miguel said he did ask them to move. But minutes later, we saw them sitting at a table ordering their food. When we pointed that out, he said they were going to place their order and leave, which didn’t make any sense. Eventually, he admitted there wasn’t anything he could do once they sat down, but he already knew they parked there from the get-go.
The whole thing felt biased—like he didn’t want to confront the man in the couple but had no problem enforcing the rules on us, two women. Whether intentional or not, it was a clear double standard, and it left a really bad impression.
We’ll never visit this...
