Read moreBeen to the Citadel a couple of times, but this was my first time eating at the Fish Market. Ate the grouper sandwich by recommendation, which was surprisingly very good. Unfortunately, it was extremely expensive, I've never paid over $25 for a sandwich, not even in a Ritz-Carlton (which I just stayed at one during the weekend). So eventhough I would love to get that sandwich again or even try other parts of their menu, price is just not worth it. Not sure why they think they can't get away with gauging people like that.. Sad how some places take advantage of their customers 😕
UPDATED REPLY: First, not sure why you are comparing yourself to high-end restaurants since you are not in the vicinity of that category, so that on itself is inaccurate and misleading. Secondly, I have done a more in-depth comparison of local restaurants, being a local, and there are more than a handful of comparable restaurants with locally sourced products, that offer high quality sandwiches, at 2 thirds of the price. So, your response is not only inappropriate, but it's also incorrect, and sadly very arrogant of a business owner to react in such a way. I would suggest doing a more in-depth price comparison, before making such statements.
For those of you looking for good for at the Citadel, there are much better options and won't gauge your wallet. And yes, this place does gauge you, prices as way too...
