Forestta Boutique Bakery — Restaurant in Miami

We chanced upon this bakery at Merrick Park in Coral Gables. My husband and I would pay for good food and so we bought the $16 Challah bread with marzipan. The sales lady was even a little hesitant to say the price of $16 and just said “the marzipan is expensive”. So we went ahead and got it. Well, please tell me where is the marzipan layer in this bread? There are slices of almond on top of your bread, but that is not marzipan. What a rip-off . There is no way this challah bread...

Stumbled upon this bakery after searching for some bagels on a Wednesday morning which was a task in itself. Andrea was super friendly and informative. Got the everything bagles with cream cheese and guava cheese rolls. Delish!! You can also place orders online and your orders can be made fresh is what I was told. Will be back for sure!! They don’t have coffee but maybe they will expand to include in the future but worth it to go there for the pastries...
