If I could rate this place lower than 1 star I would. My husband and I went here today for the first time and was absolutely turned off by the treatment we received by one of the staff members. As it was our first time ever eating this brand of ice cream my husband asked to sample a flavor and was told by one of the staff members that he needed to purchase an item first before he could be given a sample of ice cream. Have you ever in your life heard sure bull??? He was further told by the server that she was dealing with customers who paid already and therefore unless he paid first he could not get a sample of ice cream. Therefore, saying because we had not paid we would not be treated like a customer or given any time to be attended too. We have never gone into an ice cream shop and been asked to purchase before given a sample or treated in such a manner. We just walked out and will never go back again due to the disgusting and appalling customer service received. I fell in love with Freddo. After wasting $30 on ice cream and sub par service at Haagen das on south beach I decided to find an alternative ice cream shop. While in downtown Miami after googling I ended up at Freddo. The staff was great. Diego was very nice and after allowing us to sample a flavor I decided on a chocolate flavor with dulce de leche swirls over lava cake. Wonderful selection. I enjoyed my ice cream so much that I came back the next day before catching my flight home. This time we met Shanna who was very pleasant and helpful. Our experience was again wonderful.
