I’m not sure what constitutes this as delicious sushi or .. whatever you wanna call it but man. This is the most supermarket sushi I’ve ever eaten before lol like I did not expect this type of quality for the price point I’m paying for. If I wanted supermarket sushi I would have went there. What gave this place such a high review? We felt so misled LOL wouldn’t have come here without the reviews Rice was so mushy and stuck together no flavor, everything was doused in “sauce” that completely covered everything else. Ceviche was really disappointing too. Fish was hella fishy, calamari was gummy :( missing cilantro or something. Tasted incomplete. Had to sadly waste money and throw away 50% of the food cus it just was so . :( our total for this was almost $90 I should have known when 80% of the rolls menu had cream cheese in it LOL. That being said the service was nice

I was in this place for the first time and naturally it will be my last time. The waitress forgot about my drink, brought me food. Then she asked again what I would like to drink, absolutely not remembering my order. My table was not wiped from previous visitors. And the ceviche itself was not completely defrosted. This really upset me, because I did not get to fully enjoy the dish. Which I did not like anyway. I wanted to pay and run away from there, but they told me that the guy who could count me had left and would be back in 10 minutes. With full confidence that I did not mind waiting, which was outrageous. I had to wait. And the cherry on the cake was that they had already included 18% for service, and I could not change it. I was outraged by the absolutely rude attitude, but they also made me pay for it. I do not recommend this place!

We found this place after flying into Miami for the first time on a Saturday night. This is a quaint restaurant with bold Peruvian and Japanese flavors. Our kind server brought over roasted corn nuts which were a nice treat to have. We ordered a sushi roll, their signature ceviche and the Bang Bang shrimp. The food was packed with flavor and freshly prepared. We did order a rice dish which they forgot to bring but our palettes were overloaded with flavor that we didn't mind the 3 dishes we had. Out of all the dishes, would say that the ceviche was my favorite. wish could have caught our server's name because they were extremely kind and explained the menu well for us. This was my first taste of Miami and am glad we stumbled upon this place. If Im ever in Miami again, be sure to stop by Suviche again.

Came here with two others on a weekday night with an hour and half till their closing. I have been following them through social media and was very excited to try their food, especially since they have some great reviews. When we arrived they were pretty packed but the hostess said fifteen minutes to seat our party of three outside which we didn't mind. While we were waiting she came up and told us that someone was finishing up inside and we could take that table----sure, no problem. She came back and sat us inside which is pretty small and cramped so I wouldn't recommend this place for large parties. We took up two of their small tables put together but while we were overlooking the menu an older gentleman came over and notified us that we had swiped his table and that he was waiting for a friend. We felt awful and the server laughed it off, jokingly stating that we should all share a table. We offered to give the gentleman back his table but he wouldn't allowed it and ended up waiting for another table to finish up. So uncomfortable!

We finally ordered some food to share and went with these rolls: Lime Roll $9: crispy shrimp, cream cheese & salmon topped with thinly sliced lime Samba Roll $12.50: crispy shrimp, avocado & cucumber, topped with fresh tuna & wild caught white fish, finished with our crema de aji Amarillo & cilantro sauce TNT Roll $14.50: avocado, cucumber & real crab salad, topped w/ a heaping mixture of tuna, salmon & masago finished w/ spicy mayo & eel sauce

None of them were very good at all and I honestly felt pretty ripped off since I didn't find any of them enjoyable----the fish didn't taste too fresh either. The only one I leaned towards was the lime roll but the tiny lime slices they includes on top of it still had their skin so it was strange to eat.

Probably won't come back and hope that their hostess gets her act together since the start of our dinner was such an uncomfortable...

I've been wanting to try this place ever since walking by several months ago. They seem to do a very good happy hour and there is rarely a table available during those times. So opted for the much less busier after happy hour experience.

Our server was polite and helpful and made several recommendations. I think we tried most if not all of them. Many of the rolls can be purchased half size if you aren't too hungry or just want to try more than a few. Another bonus if you like sushi is that you use crab instead of krab in their roles.

There are other things besides sushi here but I was here for sushi without the desire for other menu items. What struck me immediately and not in a good way is that most rolls came with cream cheese. They are happy to take it out but it feels lacking and unimaginative to use cream cheese in your rolls. Had I looked at a menu beforehand I wouldn't have sat down to eat.

The Miami roll without cream cheese was actually quite good, the idea it would be better with cream cheese doesn't seem sane. In the end I didn't dislike this place or the service, but it wasn't what I was looking for...

I was really disappointed with my experience at Suviche. From the start, the service was poor — our server was noticeably unfriendly and at times even rude, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable.

What bothered me even more was that an 18% service charge was automatically added to the bill. I have no issue tipping well for good service, but when it’s added by default and the service is subpar, it completely removes the incentive for the staff to care. It felt like the tip was guaranteed regardless of the experience — and in this case, the experience didn’t deserve it.

To make matters worse, when I brought it up, I was told the service charge was “included everywhere in Brickell,” which is simply not true — I work in Brickell and dine out regularly, and not all restaurants operate that way.

Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Good food can’t make up for bad service and...
