Magie — Restaurant in Miami

I came for my birthday with a group of friends and i was very excited to go since it was my first time there and the food looked good online Well i was super disappointed with the way the staff treated us. The staff is very unfriendly and have the worst attitude ever. After they told us they would text us when the tray and nuggets would be ready One of the girls came by our table and told us our stuff sitting out there for a long time and when we told her we didn’t receive a text she walked away rudely with our empty wine bottles and then said” i mean i guess we could reheat it if anything”… . If she knew the food was sitting there a while and knew it would be cold why not just say sorry we didn’t send you a text let’s re heat the food The nuggets were cold and gross And as my friend was going to get the tray another employee made an unnecessary comment to us saying “well we said it would be ready in 15” This place is too over hyped and not worth the money at all. Don’t bother coming to this place Super disappointing I rather go to lagniappe where the food is better , the employees are nice , and just good vibes over all. Magies wishes they were as good...

We came to Magie’s to celebrate a birthday after weeks of looking forward to it, and the experience was a total disappointment. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful from the beginning.

We ordered two charcuterie boards, the Dino caviar nuggets, and a dip. We spent over $300.. and we would’ve spent way more if the experience was worth it. They told us we’d receive a text when the food was ready, but we never got one. Instead of simply bringing the food to us, especially with an 18% automatic service charge added to everything, a staff member came over 45 minutes later to let us know the food had been sitting on the counter—cold. No apology, just more attitude for their mistake. Then, a male staff member proceeded to give attitude to us following us to our table to tell us that we should’ve known it was done… overall an unhappy staff and unwelcoming place.

With service this poor and such a lack of basic hospitality, we won’t be coming back—and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone. If you’re looking for a better vibe and way better service, go to...

We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. We ordered different items on the menu and was excited to try it all. I was very shocked to see when we ordered, that they charge an automatic 18% gratuity charge, but because of this I expected outstanding service. We were told we’d get a text message when our food was ready, so we waited outside. After sometime, someone came out with an attitude, claiming our food had been sitting out for half an hour. Her tone was very sarcastic and I was shocked to hear this. Regardless, we didn’t mind and went to pick it up at the counter, only to be met with more passive-aggressive comments from another staff member.
