Make sure to get there as soon as they open at 12. We came (2 adults 2 kids) at 1:15pm. Stood outside for an hour and 20 min. Gotta say the kids were troopers to wait for pizza that long. There were 2 tables outside, no one sat in them because the awning for shade was not pulled out. Poor communication with guests. Small space. Hostess could not coordinate appropriately. 4 tables of 2 opened up. I had to suggest our family moving down one table to accommodate another family of 4 (with kids). She was about to skip 2 parties of 2 instead. While eating…saw a man in a red yankee hat slip the hostess $100 bill in order to skip the long line outside for his party of 6. I get it…people do this..at clubs, bars, but a pizza place? Come on. People with strollers and babies waiting outside. Not family friendly. We couldn’t place our tables together. I ended up sitting with my son and hubby with daughter. Now the food…we ordered 2 pizzas and a Philly cheese steak all together. Both cheese and pepperoni really good. Crunch crust, tomato sauce was really good, not acidity. Check the shakers, I’m glad I saw this before my son poured over his pizza: the shaker had green mold on the bottom. Guess they just refill over and over the current cheese instead of making sure it’s fresh. See picture posted. It took an additional 20 min to get our cheese steak. I have to say it was very tasty. Until I got to the end of the sandwich. The meat was a little hard, could have been cooked a little more. Left the last piece. The cheese sauce honestly is what made the sandwich and the sesame seed bread was very thick but wasn’t that bad. Still doesn’t compare to a cheese steak sandwich from Philly. I rather go to Hungry Bear hands down. Place is over hyped. We left and as we passed by in the car, still saw the couple with a newborn waiting outside while the guy who paid $100 was in already eating. See picture posted. Hope the hostess shared it with her co-workers. The customer service honestly ruined it for me. Disgusted by the service. I usually do not go into this much detail on reviews but hope the owner reads and rectifies. Will not be coming back.

Stepping into Peppi's in Miami, you might encounter a wait, but trust me, the wait is a good thing. It's not a sign of inefficiency; it's a testament to the dedication to quality that permeates every aspect of this establishment. This isn't your average fast food joint it's the culmination of an owner's passion, their literal blood, sweat, and tears poured into creating something truly exceptional. The owner and chef, is the heart and soul of Peppi's. His commitment to excellence is evident in every detail, from the perfectly baked bread to the high quality products and the carefully selected team he employs. And speaking of the team, a special shout out must go to Grace behind the bar. Her amazing smile and consistently great attitude truly enhance the experience, making even the busiest moments feel welcoming. Now, let's talk about the food it's simply outstanding. The cheesesteak with Cooper sharp cheese is an absolute marvel, a perfectly balanced symphony of flavors and textures. But if I had to pick just one item, the cutlet sandwich is arguably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. It's that good. And while those are my personal favorites, honestly, everything on the menu is amazing. Even the pizzas are great, though be warned, you'll definitely need two people to conquer one of those generous pies. You know, at Peppi's, you might have to wait, but that's a good thing. In life, the best things often take time, and nothing truly great comes easy. This isn't your typical grab-and-go; it's a place where every detail is crafted with care and passion. So, if you're sensitive to a bit of a wait, just remember you're holding out for top notch quality that's truly worth it.

Came here because of the Instagram hype and the bold claim of being the "Best Cheesesteak outside of Philly." As a New Yorker who lived in Philly, I know what a good cheesesteak should taste like. I arrived around noon and the place was already packed. It had a nice vibe and two tables were free, but the waitress asked us to wait outside. Thankfully, the wait wasn't long and the waitresses were very friendly. Everyone in my party ordered the cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp. It came out looking great. Large portion, plenty of meat. I was excited… until I took my first bite. The meat had no flavor. I was genuinely shocked. I’ve never had a cheesesteak this bland before. I took another bite hoping I was wrong, but all I could taste was the cheese. I dug around for the fried onions, hoping they might add something, but everything just blended into one big tasteless glop. For the first time ever, I couldn’t finish a cheesesteak. Now, I know Dave Portnoy isn’t from New York or Philly, but I do follow his reviews as a baseline when trying spots around town. The guy has the power to make or break a place with a single video. I don’t know if he got a different sandwich than we did, but I can wholeheartedly say: this place wouldn’t be what it is without the hype. The final insult was when I got the bill...25 bucks because I ordered the Hot Peppers on the side. I could have gotten 4 Wawa Cheesteaks and we all would have been happier. Save yourself the trip, wait and money.

I really wish that I had a good review for this place. But you can tell by the lack of enthusiasm and attention to detail that the staff displayed during my visit that the popularity that they received on social media has made this place a cash cow and they've obviously stopped trying. I've been to places that have been advertised on social media before, and I am aware that oftentimes the items that are showcased, in this case the Philly cheesesteaks, are ordered and mass and they tend to run out pretty early.

Because of this I decided to call the restaurant ahead of time instead of making the 45-minute Trek for nothing. When you call this restaurant it rings and rings and rings until the voicemail picks up. We tried more than four times to reach them by phone. They also have no way of placing online orders in 2025, which in itself is completely idiotic.

Our plan was to pick up some sandwiches and go to the beach. So despite not being able to get in touch with the restaurant before leaving our house we decided to make the drive anyway. It took us well over 45 minutes to arrive and find parking.

My girlfriend waited in the car with our dog and I went inside to place our order. The young lady who appeared to be the host asked me if we were dining in or taking out. I said to her "it's takeout and all we need are two Philly cheesesteaks nothing else will be on our way."

She clearly didn't use her listening skills and glazed over what I said and asked me to wait outside. I asked her why and she said that all take out orders are taken on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant as the bar was full. I said sure and I went outside and waited.

I waited outside for a total of 15 minutes because there were two couples in front of me who were waiting to get their orders taken as well. After the first couple places their order the same host that I spoke to notified everyone that they were out of Philly cheese steaks and chicken cutlet sandwiches which was our intended order and also the backup order in case they were out of cheesesteaks.

This confirmed that the person that I spoke to inside had zero listening skills and didn't take into account that I would have to waste 15 minutes of my time only to not be able to order what I came for.

I left empty-handed and as good as the food at this place looked I will never go back simply because of the lack of professionalism or just general overall attention to detail. Not to mention the fact that there is no way to get in touch with the restaurant because they ignore phone calls and have no way of placing orders in advance online - again in 2025. One could say they didn't take calls bc they were busy. But when I initially arrived The bar was full and the restaurant was not even at 50% capacity. They just ignore the phone. The staff here does not really seem to care about quality service or just general courtesy. The hassle of getting to this place combined with their lack of communication makes...

What did I lie about? You are lying because I never once said I tasted your food, only that I would not taste your food based on how you presented yourself on tv.

Update: Just to be clear I have never ate at this establishment. My review is based on how the owner acted on a TV show he was on. He talked so horribly about the people he was working/cooking for that it made me never want to support any business of his & I was sharing that opinion here on Google reviews. If that is not allowed here on Google & they want to take my review down I will respect that decision. But in no way is this review defamation because everything I said is 100% true & all you have to do to prove that is watch Below Deck Down Under season 1. He called the clients he was paid good money to cook for all kinds of horrible names & many curse words were thrown their way if they ever had even the simplest request or modification to their food. He ended up getting fired by the Captain as soon as they could find another chef & was given a time limit to get off the boat because of the way he was speaking about the Captain. Then he pulled his bare butt out as he walked away from the boat. He is now threatening to sue me for defamation because of this review but I thought defamation meant you had to be lying about something? That's why I want to make it clear this is just my opinion that I would not want to support this guys business based on his behavior toward people he will be cooking for i.e. any customer that comes to this establishment. Maybe he's upset because he went on a TV show & acted horribly but that doesn't mean I'm lying. Again Google if this review is not allowed please remove. I just think people have the right to know whose business they are supporting.

I would never eat any food from this dude! The way he talks about the people he is cooking for, so disrespectful, degrading & just plain disgusting. I would in no way want to support any business of his. You need to work on your attitude because...
