So last week I was vacationing In Miami FL and I decided to visit the Gucci store as well as this Louis store. I made a purchase in the Gucci store and I also wanted to see what kind of purses that this Louis vuitton had since my current one was getting old to me. I waited in line and a nice guy at the door took my name and said welcome a salesman name Derrick would be helping me. I said great. Well it wasnât so great! He started to show me a couple of purses that I wasnât to interested in based on the color and style. So I described the style and a color and he started showing me some stuff in a side closet which didnât make sense but Iâm like ok. And he would pull something out and it would be too small or too big after what I described the size. I was starting to get discouraged about even looking at this bags and felt like he wasnât really doing his job with trying to meet my needs or to make a sale because he didnât show me all the different bags He would pull out the bags one by one in the closet which was only about 10 and I only saw about 3 that he showed me.My husband pointed to one in the closet and it was what I liked but didnât close or snap and I was concerned about my items being unsecured and for 2600.00 thatâs not gonna work. After I explained that to him he took the bag and walked to the back. He didnât say I got something else, the hell with you or nothing! Just left me and my husband standing there with my Gucci bag in my hand. We told the other man at the door have a good day and we walked out! So I went back to the Gucci store in the same shopping district where I got excellent customer service before I went to the sorry Louis store and found me a bag with all the right features ( The Raihj purse!)    Read moreI visited the store in January and bought two luggages for my husbandâs upcoming business trip. In the meantime the sale person offered to repair my Lockme Bucket Bag for free, which is what I use for work so I thought it would be good. Iâm a lawyer that works downtown and head to court often. I thought it was a nice gesture on his part. Little did I know no one would call me back since January to let me know the status of my repair or let me know they still had it. I called the main line end of August, beginning of September and the first time the store called me back was on September 2. Not by the manager to apologize for letting this fall through the cracks, but by a sales lady who was not apologetic at all. Did I mention there is no direct line to this store so I called the main number four times so they could send messages to the store? And only AFTER I threatened to sue the store did someone call me back from this location. I even tried to set up an appointment so someone would call me back. It says someone will contact you within 24 hours of your appointment. Not true!!!! Nothing. No call. And when someone called me back they said the repair would be for free (it was supposed to be free) and ready on October !!! I never go out of my way and waste my time to leave reviews regarding customer service because sometimes, some disgruntled staff members may just be having a bad day. But this was not the case at Louis Vuitton Miami Design District. I am from California and was visiting Miami, excited about my shopping experience from everything I had heard. Walked up to the Louis Vuitton store and put my name down for the wait which I was told would be 30-40 minutes. A long wait considering there was no line outside, and every sales associate was standing around on their phone, but those were their rules and I obliged. When I returned after 30 min, the door man in a VERY nasty, discriminatory and condescending tone, told me he didnât care and that he didnât want to disrespect the âother loyal customersâ by letting me in. I informed him I knew exactly what bags I wanted to see and that I wouldnât be taking up too much of anyoneâs time. Again he said it doesnât matter that he had originally told me 30-40 that I would actually be much longer and proceeded to call security to have me and my boyfriend removed.
