I used to be very excited to try this place but after my first visit I don’t think I’ll be returning any time soon. My husband and I ordered two sausage hot dogs instead of the regular, with no additional fries just the hot dogs, along with a salchipapa criolla, a can of soda, and a juice. Before we received the order I asked the guy who took my order if he can charge my hot dogs as a combo with fries since I only ordered a soda he said that option wasn’t available anymore and I just told him it was okay and to leave it like that. I then left to stay with my dog in the car while my husband paid. My husband comes to the car and tells me he paid $45. I literally gasped I knew he was over charged because I had pre-calculated the estimated total beforehand. Turns out the server charged me extra fries on both hotdogs, and he added his own gratuity. Now the fries I can understand there being maybe a miscommunication but the gratuity was the most unprofessional thing in the restaurant business I have ever seen in my life and I’ve worked in a high standards restaurant where this would never pass. Never is it okay to charge gratuity on a TO GO order where I wasn’t even served at a table. Seriously it’s unbelievably unprofessional. AND IT GETS WROSE 🤣 my husband said the server didn’t even tell him gratuity was included so my husband just trying to get his food and get out didn’t put mind to the total just handed him the cash and tipped him with the change. Even at that moment the server didn’t think to mention that gratuity was already included. In total this unprofessional server received almost $20 in tips for a to go order of two hot dogs an app and two drinks. I understand times are tough even for us but being sincere and humble gets you a lot more than being greedy.
Food quality was okay the only disappointing thing was the appetizer it was just potatoes and tiny pieces of regular hot dog. The juice was awesome and the apple postobon...
Read moreThis Colombian fast food restaurant has become my go-to spot every time I crave authentic Colombian flavors. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly made empanadas, arepas, and grilled meats that instantly transport you to Colombia. The food is always flavorful, generous in portions, and served quickly. I especially love their Picada and perro colombiano; always fresh and cooked to perfection.
Another big plus is the parking. The location has easy access, and I’ve never had trouble finding a spot, even during peak hours. That convenience alone makes it a great option when you’re hungry and want something fast but satisfying. The service is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place that offers real Colombian taste at fair prices, this is the place. Highly...
Read moreThey have a very extensive regular menu, which goes until 8pm. It has more traditional dishes (meat and sauce, soups, etc). One of our dishes, bistek with creole sauce, was from that menu. It was delicious! The other two dishes were from the express menu, which runs into the night. It’s more casual and comfort food. The hamburger came with ham, egg, and bacon, with arepa instead of bun—great for the price. Everything was good and the waiter was very friendly. It’s a low-key, local restaurant.
The only problem was we found out about it from purchasing a Groupon, and when we went to pay they said they no longer work with Groupon and wouldn’t honor the groupon, which was disappointing because we already paid for it. So, don’t buy a groupon for here, even though it’s listed on their website. Otherwise...
