Worst cigar factory or lounge experience I've ever had hands down. Always wanted to visit El Titan de Bronze, but after going there, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've been an avid cigar smoker for 27 years. El Titan has been almost a dream destination for me since it opened. Today I finally got the chance to visit and it was a terrible experience. They opened at 10 am, according to their hours. I was there at 10:15. The door was unlocked and the sign said open so I went in. The aroma inside is amazing, as would be expected in a cigar factory. It's much smaller inside than I expected. There was maybe 4 feet of room between the counter and the stacks and stacks of boxes. On the other side of the boxes were the cigar makers and there is also another room to the side with cigar makers. The rollers and buncheros were busy making cigars and just about everyone glanced at me but kept working. There was nobody at the counter, which was fine because it gave me time to watch the cigars being made. After 5 minutes one of the ladies said something in spanish to a man, who came over and said someone would be with me soon. I waited another 5 minutes and another lady asked if I spoke spanish and I said no and she said I might want to come back later. As I was about to leave the first guy came back and said a lady was coming to help. Help was not quite what she did. As she was walking toward me she had an angry look on her face and said "They weren't supposed to let you inside". I told her the door was unlocked and it said open and that if it was a problem I could come back later. She said no, and asked what I wanted. At this point I just wanted to leave but I really wanted some cigars so I purchased the 5 cigar sampler. She didn't say another word to me, gave me the cigars and was walking away from the counter before I had the bag in my hand. Needless to say, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a cigar factory or cigar shop. I'd recommend the vape shop down the street before I'd tell someone...
Read moreWent to Miami for an extended weekend vacation in early May this year. While I didn't originally intend on finding a cigar, in search of things to do I found El Titan de Bronze. We drove there from South Beach and although I didn't see them being made, I bought a cigar. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and they even gave me an extra cigar!
The one I had from another manufacturer while on the beach the next day was good. However the extra cigar that is made at this place, I just smoked today back in California. WOW! This Sin Galindo 436 was probably the finest cigar I've smoked in the last decade, possibly ever, and that's including Cubans from the island. Usually I won't finish more than half a large cigar like this but I even saved the mostly finished one this time because it was so tasty....
Read moreFull disclosure I know nothing about cigars. I know my old man like them and I figured if I was in this part of the world Id get him something. El Titan is a little walk down from what I would call the Little Havana "strip" and boy am I glad I skipped the tourist trap spots and came here.
Even letting them know I was a newb and needed something for a gift they were welcoming like Id stepped into their home. Sandy is super sweet and obviously knowledgeable about what they do. Watching so many workers take pride in their craft and hearing about the process was fascinating. I left with a nice 5 cigar sampler for my dad.
Im confident he...
