I pulled into McDonald’s to redeem my points for a free breakfast sandwich - I usually go to the Aurora location and have had no issues but I was working in Parma today so I stopped here. I went and gave them the code and the lady was yelling at me through the drive thru microphone saying the code didn’t work. I said there’s a QR code if that would work. She said pull up. She then proceeded to scream at me about how there’s nothing she can do for me and that she can’t scan anything or the QR code and how I need a different code. I wasn’t sure how to get a different code so I asked her how and she said close out the app and open it again. I did that and got the same code. She proceeded to scream at me and said I’m not allowed to get a sandwich. I said maam I don’t appreciate the attitude I was just trying to get my breakfast and I said would there be a manager available and she screamed at me and said she’s the manager. I said well maam how can we fix this, I just want to use my points and I don’t appreciate you yelling at me. She then started getting louder and waving her hands around saying I can’t get a sandwich. I said I don’t appreciate the attitude or you yelling at me and she said “Okay” and slammed the window shut and wouldn’t open it or talk to me. I was very calm and nice and she was hooping and hollering at me! My husband was on the other line and couldn’t believe how she was talking to me. He was so mad he was about to go up there. She should be fired, forget McDonald’s, that’s no way to talk to a human being, EVER. Disgusting. So I’m not eating...

I placed a mobile order at this McDonald’s (Middleburg Heights, OH) intending to eat inside while passing time before an appointment. I rarely dine in at McDonald’s, and after this visit, I never will again.
From the moment I walked in, the place was filthy. The glass doors and windows were covered in smudges and drip marks, the floors were dirty, and there were spills left uncleaned by the drink station. The garbage cans were overflowing, and counters were sticky and messy.
The bathroom was just as bad—dirty and clearly neglected, with a cleaning cart stuffed into one of the two stalls and left abandoned. Luckily, I just went in there to wash my hands. It’s unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one with dine-in service.
The most shocking part? The manager was sitting in a booth on his laptop, seemingly ignoring the state of the restaurant. There was no one at the front counter to help customers who didn’t want to use the self-service kiosks. I had to wait far too long just to get napkins—no dispensers anywhere.
The only positive note: the kitchen area looked cleaner, and the crew seemed to be doing their best. They looked overwhelmed and understaffed.
Shame on the management for not stepping in to support the crew or take responsibility for the condition of the dining area. I will never return to...
