A group of us have been going to This Wendy’s every Saturday night for years. In this time our numbers have decreased to four. We have seen a great turnover in personnel, and understand this location is a learning place. Usually the place is dirty- tables not wiped, floor not swept, garbages over flowing. Often the beverage machine hasn’t any ice, and choices are few, because they aren’t refilled. There are times when the utensils aren’t filled and there aren’t any napkins nor ketsup. If I could give this store a rating of half a star I would. Frequently you wait a long time to have your order taken and filled. And there is more personnel behind the counter then in the store. We have attributed the lack of attention to the changes in personnel. Recently things have gotten worse You can always tell when the management changes as different things become a priority. Recently there has appeared a change in the menu. Half of the choices for the four for four meals have been removed. A piece of tape covers them, with the words not available. The ingredients for the unavailable items are clearly needed to fill other choices. The prices for the four for four have gone up to $4.44. When asked about this we were told the choices have changed because of having to pay the employees more due to the minimum wage going up. I can’t tell you how often a sandwich was missing lettuce, cheese, or tomato, yet making a crispy chicken BLT can’t be made because the bacon is too expensive. The new assistant manager needs to go to manager school. He is very rude and definitely hasn’t managerial skills. For some of our group this was the last straw and we won’t be returning to this store. Would not recommend this store McDonalds is down the street. Hold the pickles hold the lettuce special orders don’t upset...
Read moreJust left Wendy’s in Middletown and bought my son cheese fries like I always do with no shredded cheese and just the cheese sauce on the side. Per usual they messed up the order and poured the cheese sauce on the fries. I said don’t worry about remaking them just put the cheese in the cup on the side. She said ok well I have to charge you 50 cents for the cup to put the cheese in. I said well then just give me a new one because I didn’t want the cheese on them anyway. She said I still have to charge you for the cheese. Her logic was that now I’m getting regular fries with cheese on the side. I said but Ive already paid you for cheese fries 🤯 and now for the price of cheese fries you’re giving me regular fries, which are cheaper by the way, and now I’m paying for the cheese on the side that I already paid for?! Got it! Ive never had a worker give me a problem about putting the cheese that I’ve already paid for on the side in a little plastic cup that they probably throw out a ton of daily that just drop on the floor. One tiny plastic cup isn’t even 50 cents anywhere in reality. Instead of going back and forth with stupid though, I figured I would write a review and call corporate in the morning. Incompetence at the highest! Had they just given me a cheese cup on the side like I asked at first Wendy’s would have saved more money by not having to throw out a whole order of cheese fries and make me a new one. On top of losing a customer. Great job Wendy’s. You need to give your workers tonight December 3rd 2023 who were working the window at 8pm and the worker that came from the back to reiterate the stupidity, all a class in customer...
Read morePoor parking lot and drive-thru may require you to wrap completely around the store to be able to access the entrance. We've ordered here 10 times over 2 years, pretty much the same thing all the time, a couple of baked potatoes with extra butter and chives (which we specifically and exactly request). Anytime there is more than 2 cars in line, reconsider the decision to wait -- because it can be 5-10 minutes of your life before you get to the window. By the time you've gotten there, and you get your food and begin to drive away, you come to regret not staying focused and checking your order -- more than HALF the time, we get NO butter or chives, or the MANDATORY fork (which your kids need for their steaming hot potatoes!), is missing -- one or both of them. Then, you're on Route 35, driving away, and its complete frustration at that point. Consistent quality control and "order confirmation" seem a real problem at this location, much more than other stores. Yes, its an atypical order -- baked potatoes! versus the double-cheeseburger for the slob who doesn't care about the details -- but its not like there's 1,000 other items...
