Cousin Vinny's Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown

Very disappointed. I have been a customer of Cousin Vinny's for years and this is the worst I've been done. I ordered a pizza at 11:58 p.m. My order said it was on its way at 12:29 a.m. I called at 1:08 a.m. and was placed on hold for 5 minutes. I asked if everything was okay with the driver since it had been about 45 minutes and the person stated that the tracker isnt working properly, and that he has the drivers tell him when they are 5 minutes away from the store and he puts it in the tracker that its on its way (what?). At 1:51 a.m. the driver finally shows up, but my pizza isn't in his bag. He called the store and they spoke for another 5 minutes, then says what they are going to do is issue a credit, and then go back and get my pizza. By this time its 2 in the morning, I'm tired, and the driver's car is loud and its late. I told him I would really like my money back and to not worry about coming back I will call the store. He said okay, sorry about that. I was polite and nice the entire time. His name was Cam. He said the store forgot to give him my pizza.

Called the store, and the manager is immediately rude, then says they don't do refunds. Then I said "Well I will contact corporate because this is bs." That isn't me cussing at him, I am directing it toward the situation. He says he is disconnecting the call because I am speaking improperly to him, when he was the one cutting me off and not making any sense.

I just want my money back. The pizza is good, the customer service really sucked this time. I ordered online and gave the driver a 10 dollar tip putting my bill at 30 bucks....and Im not going to get that back because of some...

3/24/23: They have pretty good pizza but terrible service . My last two orders have been a complete disaster. I was told last time that my order would be ready in 20 minutes for pickup. When I arrived 20 minutes later I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order. I ordered two pizzas today and when I tried to pick up my order, I was informed that they only made one pizza and that I would have to wait another 10-15 minutes for them to fix my order. When I told them that I couldn't wait, they acted like I was inconveniencing them. I would not recommend this place if you want to get the food that you ORDERED in a timely manner. I'm also emailing the owner because the manager refused to give me a phone number and will update this review when and if the owner responds.

UPDATE 4/24/23: It has been almost 4 weeks since I posted this review and e-mailed the owner. I have not heard from anyone from the company about my concerns with their poor service and rude employees. This proves to me that the owner of this company does not care about the customer or the quality of their food or service. I order pizza at about 12:44 on a Tuesday which thankfully it was one of the only places open, excited to try the pizza because me and sales team just came into town from Texas. Almost an hour goes by and I figured I should call because I had not heard anything or received the pizza. I call and the “manager”answers and says it’s going to be another 40mins but I’m up next… so at this point it’s 2:09A.M. And of course I’m super pissed off because why would I have even ordered pizza if it was going to take 2 hours to get on a Tuesday night… so then she proceeds to tell me she’s going to refund the money I guess which I didn’t hear bc she hung up the phone so I have no idea if the pizza is even coming at this point… I called back.. she said yeah I thought we agreed to refund the money.. I just want the pizza lol take my money I’ve already waited an hour for this I said… hangs up before I was finished so I had to then call back and ask her to take my money tell me no and then hangs up again… is the pizza coming who even knows. I’m sorry this is everyone’s option in Trenton to order some late night food. Service is complete trash and they don’t have any manners. As far as the food no idea, would love to try it if the staff wasn’t a complete circus crew. Long story short…....
