Ruby Tuesday — Restaurant in Middletown

Highly recommend the Everyday specials they have. My husband had the Ribs & Steak and I had Fish & Chips...we also had some things for our kids (Cajun Chicken & Pasta) that were packaged to go & everything was delicious and packaged perfectly. We've heard nothing but great things since new Management took over & have seen many discussions about Ruby Tuesday on Facebook Groups in Middletown, DE since then. My MIL lives near the Pike Creek location and orders from there all the time.. As I see the review of the person who said a few days ago they had food poisoning, I had to wonder if that's an authentic review. After seeing the reviews of that person who gave SEVERAL 5 star restaurants who had horrible burnt pizza 🍕 reviews it made me wonder what type of food that reviewer eats? We have eaten from here MANY times..including friends and neighbors who haven't had an issue. Sure they can happen..but I know things happen. People are human. But to say you got food poisoning from here, I don't think so..perhaps it was the greasy pizza they ate? Anyway, check out their specials. Even the regular menu..they are definitely better than any fast food burger and fries & depending on what burger or even entree you get, may be cheaper than McDonald's or elsewhere! Also sign up for their rewards program. They send you emails/text messages w special coupons as well. Keep up the great work. Went there with a group of friends tonight. We were wanting to have an enjoyable time and we were until we got our waitress Patty. She came only to give me a menu and a drink for a friend and maybe one of our dishes. We were getting a little loud however there were no customers near by and we thought we weren't doing anything wrong. As a waitress she could have been polite and asked us to quite down. she walked away and said you need to calm down under her breath but she couldn't say it to our face. She never asked if we needed a refill clearly seeing our classes were empty. She walked passed the booth not even stopping to ask. We went to the bathroom and she was talking under her breath saying there should only be two people in the bathroom. She is clearly blind since there are three stalls in there. As we were getting ready to go we could clearly hear her say good leave. She was mad because she only got two dollars for a tip and she's lucky she even got that. If I ever got her again I'd walk out. If you want to have an enjoyable time if you are desperate enough to go. Do NOT have PATTY as a waitress. She's a tall lady with blonde hair...

So I have been here many times and it seems to me no one knows how to manage the running of the store. Also they seem to just hire anyone from off the street and say your a server. They are terrible here wait at least 10 minutes to get checked on ordered our food and got the salad bar. Everytime we come here it's empty and they always say the same thing someone is working on it now then 10 minutes later it gets replenished why wait until being told to fill it staff should be on it makes no sense to me seems like not one person cares about their jobs and even wants to do their jobs. We finally got our food only for it all to be cold not hot not warm cold which means the waitress never checked to see if it was done and ready to come out. When we first came in there was 8 staff members just standing around talking not doing anything. This will be the last time coming to this location and I would never recommend coming here it really is a bad place to come and eat no one cares about you they just want to stand...
