7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Midland

Two weeks ago today I found myself at seven brew for a morning coffee with my expecting wife, little did I know this routine coffee run would be life-changing. Shortly after out order was recieved I heard my wife scream out in pain and proclaim that our baby was on the way.

In a panic, I started grabbing napkins and begging for help, after all I had no idea what to do or where to go. I was completely caught by surprise with this being my first child. My paniced frenzy came to an end when I looked up and saw a seven brew worker there, I think her name was Lexi. She handed me my coffee and calmed me and my wife down telling us it would all be ok.

Shortly after, Lexi delivered my first child right there in the Midland Texas Seven Brew, Lexi was my savior that day. Following the delivery of my child (who I named Lexi in honor of our guardian angel) we were told that the charge for the coffee was covered and we took off for the hospital.

It has been two weeks now and my sweet baby Lexi and my wife are doing great! I plan on going to this Seven Brew as every day for my morning coffee and I encourage everyone else to do the same!

I’ve given this location multiple chances, but the management and staff behavior have been extremely disappointing.

The first time I went (on a Saturday around 10 p.m.), the lights were off, employees were literally huddled in the corner, and several cars drove away. They close at 11, so it was confusing and unprofessional.

The second time, their card machines were down and they were only taking cash. I was told to wait for the manager, which I was fine with—but while I waited, they continued serving others behind me who had cash. Employees started whispering and one even came out saying, “Oh my God, it’s that lady.” Completely uncalled for when I was simply following instructions. What’s worse is that after looking at other reviews, I see the same thing happening over and over. The owner replies with “Please email us,” but nothing ever seems to change. Some of these complaints have been posted for months, and the same problems keep happening. It feels pointless to even leave a review because no one above these kids is actually holding them accountable.

I give this place a 5 star simply cause I love this place I come almost every single day!! A few times I been Ive asked my drink to be remade I usually order a fizz and a few times they were flat which was not a problem cause they were re made!! Well I went today and the same thing happened!! So my drink was re made and the girl that took my order was super nice she had wonderful customer service and to make it right she offered me a free drink card for all the mistakes!! Which is wonderful for business by the way!! But what I did not like was the young lady that was on the inside making drinks was yelling at the poor girl that took my order cause offered me a drink card to make it right!! That’s not very professional for one and for two it made me want to hand the drink card back and not return to this location if it’s going to be a problem!!
