The food was okay. I still prefer other Vietnamese food restaurants in Midland. The pho here was okay, but it wasn't as delicious as I've had. My spouse's dish was also just okay. The host also served as waiter and he was not friendly or attentive after he brought our food. Twice, I had to wave him down to tend to tend to our simple requests. Tried this place for the first time after reading so many good reviews. I got the Korean BBQ bahn mi- it was flavorful but a lot of fatty pieces not enough meat; it was also spicy because they put jalapeños. I thought the meat was going to be spicy. I got the Vietnamese coffee, it was good but sweet. My wife got the charbroiled pork broken rice and a taro tea. Again the meat had more fat than meat but had good flavor. My wife and I ordered (Mango and Sugar Cane) teas, appetizers (pot stickers and egg rolls) and entrees (Korean beef sandwich and Steak pan entree). We had a great lunch in a very unique place with food we had never eaten before. This Vietnamese food has French influence and is a welcome addition in our view to Midland. We hope the community supports it and we will be back! The food is good with wonderful sauces and flavors. French bread/baguette comes with most dishes and is homemade I think.
