Cupbop - Korean BBQ in a Cup — Restaurant in Midvale

My husband and I will go out of our way, and pass two other cup bops, to come to this location. Jacob and Robinson are especially kind and and friendly, so we are happy when we walk through the door and are greeted by them. (Thanks guys!) Today's experience(5/4/24 ~11:30am) was a little off-putting. My husband and I were ordering our food when this gentleman walks in. He was greeted by Jacob, but the guy did not acknowledge him. It appeared as if he was headed to the restroom. Instead he opened a door that led to the back area. This gentleman walked around and up to the cach register area, where he looked around for a second, then walked back out to his car. This tall, clean shaven guy with round glasses, did not acknowledge either the employees or the customers. I thought it was odd. I asked the employees if they knew him and they said he was one of the "higher ups". Just then, the guy comes back in with a paper, put it somewhere in the back and walks out again. My order was being placed in its bag and I had every intention of going to talk to this guy. But, he drove off before I got outside. I hope he, or someone else who knows who this guy might be, based off my lame description, reads this: Sir, please treat your employees with respect. It would take no extra time or effort to acknowledge their existence with a "hello" it a smile. Also, as a "higher up", it would have been wise of you to take two seconds of your time to talk to your customers. Ask about our experience or at least acknowledge us. You were completely rude and should lead by example in how you interact with customers. That being said, the food was great and we love the weekend employees at...

Having gone here more since my first review, I can't say I enjoy this location over other Cupbop locations I have visited, more specifically, I don't prefer it over the Midvale location, which in my case, is equidistant from my home to this location on Fort Union.

The reasoning for this is because the last couple times I have gone, there has been something slightly off. Specifically, I noticed that there is usually one of the sauces is missing from time to time when I pick a sauce level, whether it be the Bulgogi sauce, the White sauce, or one of the Spicy sauces (like the one you get on the level 7.5 or the level 10).

Irregardless, while it does taste good every time I go to this location, the Midvale location has been more consistent in terms of their product, so I will continue to go there for now. I will be coming back to this location from time to time, though, in hopes of seeing the...

I’ve given it a few try’s here, either it’s just my luck but something wrong all the time. I’ve gone to several locations and It’s been fine except for this location. I had asked for no cabbage as the girl was putting mine together the guy insisted on taking the one being prepared for me to give to the previous people waiting before me. She kept telling him no it’s for her but he didn’t care to realize why she wouldn’t hand it over since it was a no cabbage. He proceeded to take it from her and give it to the other people come to find out that they hadn’t ordered a chicken one. At the point the lady said just leave it I’ll just take those. The young lady then gave me the one that was half way prepared which I didn’t find out until I got home. I found out it only had rice and cabbage mind you I didn’t want the cabbage all I wanted was the rice noodles and chicken.
