I remember when this place first opened. In n Out helped me gain 30 lbs very quickly, every time I'd finish a workout I'd hit this location and ask for two 3 by 3s, onion on one and grilled onion on the other. Delicious. got huge, felt good. Unfortunately as my love for this place rose, so did my cholesterol, and went back to chicken and broccoli.
Re-visited about a year and a half later, this place has become INFESTED with high schoolers. I was a high schooler back in the dust bowl of 2011 (or was that the rose bowl, i can't remember I'm senile now) and I get it. But it took me 30 minutes to get my food. Fair enough they're busy...
I go there 2 weeks later, around 4 pm. Try to drive through thinking it'll be faster. Takes 45 minutes, the line was in the walmart parking lot. I was stunned, heartbroken....
Went there just earlier this month, at 6-7, took even longer. same story.
This place needs the chic-fil-a treatment. Get two lines, people taking your order before the menu, and more staff because they cannot keep up with the demand at all.
It's not fast food anymore, it's delicious food that takes a long time.
Still love yall, but you gotta scale with your...
Read moreI waited in the drive through for an hour because I really wanted a double double. When I finally was almost to the window I watched them hand a bag to the car in front of me. The customer went on to say what was in the bag and that it wasn't her order. She dug through the it a few more times to make sure before handing the bag back to the employee. It was my order they had given her. They finally gave her a new bag with her correct order then she drove away. As I pulled up I saw the employee taking the food out of the bag she handed back to him only to just "re bag" the food the customer had touched! He then turned to give it to me. I asked him if that was the same food he had given the woman before me? He just looked at me funny. I said I did not want that food. I waited in the drive through for an hour I did not want the food she had touched. He just kinda grunted then said they would remake my food. They finally gave me my order what felt like forever later. I thought there is some kind of law that they're not allowed to take food back that a customer had touched. Let alone try to still serve it to the next customer. I was...
Read moreWhat can be said about In & Out that hasn't already been said? Is it gourmet haute cuisine? Not hardly. Do they serve wagyu beef burgers garnished with homemade aioli and radicchio for $20? Lord no. What you get at In & Out is the best fast food hamburger and fries anywhere, made with very fresh ingredients by employees who are happy to be there because they're being paid a fair wage. Their menu is simple, their food is simple, their service is efficient, and their prices are reasonable, but not bargain basement, because again, fresh ingredients and fairly compensated employees cost just a bit more. If you want something fancy or dirt cheap, go elsewhere; if you're not willing to wait a few minutes to order and receive the food that was made fresh for you instead of sitting under a heat lamp until given to some random customer, go elsewhere. But if you want to stuff yourself on a really, really tasty burger and fries (and soft drink) for about ten bucks, In & Out is the place to be. And you can be there until 1 AM, even if you want to order inside and...
