A Nightmare Stay: The Worst Hotel Experience Ever
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was, without question, the most disgusting and poorly managed hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I stepped into my room, it was clear that cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service were completely nonexistent.
First, the blackout curtain rail was broken, leaving the heavy curtains barely hanging. Normally, that might not be a huge issue—except there was an extremely bright fluorescent light from outside blasting directly into my window all night long. This wasn’t just an annoying glow; this was like trying to sleep under a stadium floodlight. The light was supposed to illuminate the hotel’s exterior but was instead angled straight into my room, making it impossible to get any sleep. I had to resort to using a blanket to block the light because the staff didn’t care to fix it.
Speaking of the staff—when I went to the front desk to ask if something could be done, I was met with the most apathetic, unprofessional response imaginable: “Nothing I can do.” No apology, no attempt to solve the issue—just pure indifference.
Then, there was the hygiene—or complete lack thereof. The sheets and pillowcases were filthy. And by filthy, I mean: • Visible clumps of human hair between the pillow and pillowcase • Multiple stains on the pillowcases, sheets, and towels • Yellow-stained towels that looked like they hadn’t been properly washed in ages
To top it off, the bathroom was a horror show. The bath tap was covered in grime, the countertop was stained, and the blow dryer didn’t work.
Adding to the discomfort, the entire lobby was filled with the overpowering smell of incense sticks burning non-stop. While I understand that burning incense may have cultural significance, a hotel lobby is not the place for it. The scent was so strong that it made the entire place feel suffocating. What someone chooses to do in their own home is their business, but forcing guests to endure this overwhelming smell is completely unacceptable in a shared public space.
In the morning, I went to the front desk again, hoping for at least some clean sheets and pillows. This time, a staff member named Gina gave me the most outrageous, insulting response: “When I travel, I bring my own bedsheets. You should do the same if you want to avoid dirty ones.” Since when is it normal for a hotel guest to have to bring their own bedding because the hotel refuses to provide clean ones?
As if the dirty room and dismissive staff weren’t enough, the entire atmosphere of the hotel felt unsafe. There were paramedics and police showing up randomly, and there were sketchy, rough people hanging around. It did not feel like a safe place to stay at all.
In short: This hotel is a disaster. Filthy rooms, broken fixtures, overpowering smells, incompetent and rude staff, and a complete disregard for guest comfort and safety. DO...
Read moreLook at my first video how a guy stands up for me and she threatens to take his 6 days payed w out a refund. And then tells him to SHUT UP
“I am the dummy who payed for a day w not my name on it” who was the one who sold me the room? Are they not responsible? Anyways it was my gf and they saw us go in and she was too stubborn to check cameras
It’s the cheapest for a reason…. Not worth it
I was called a “Dummy” and told to shut up because they didn’t want to give me the key to my room right after I payed for it!
They have issues with their cards so they told me “come back later and I’ll give you a new card” so they unlocked my room; I went in and 30 mins later I go out and ask for my card so I can unlock my room.
Instead of giving it to me the lady (darker skin) called me a dummy for paying another night under my girlfriend’s name instead of mine….
I said ok I wait for her; she called the police on me; police came and kicked me out for waiting in the lobby.
I talked to a guy who payed 6 nights and she told him “keep talking to Carlos (me)” and I can kick you out w out a refund.
Not worth it; they are racist; and called me names after i payed w my card; I signed the no smoking policy and I asked can you please check the cameras “she said no” I asked can you please contact the worker that sold me my room; she said no.
She called her worker 5 mins later to yell at him because he didn’t take my ID, the male worker that sold me my room said “we don’t need to I’d verify w Apple Pay”
So he let me in my room….. but this other girl wouldn’t let me in. She looks 60s late 50s, and has temper w every customer that’s having an issue.
No microwave in rooms but one microwave for the whole hotel 1st floor smells like duck cheese 🧀, my vent in my bathroom didn’t work; hair dryer didn’t work, smelled stuffy, behind the bed was thongs and used up clothes from other people.
They hit u w a $100 deposit as a surprise instead of listing it in their website
So if you got $100 don’t come here cause they willing to kick u out
I even said “it’s not about what you want it’s about what I payed” she said no it’s not if I don’t want you here you can’t be here, so I got kicked by police….. doesn’t bother me because after all there was no arrest; and after my gf came she used her id and they finally let me sleep in my room. Started at 11:00 am and she came at 10:00 pm the whole day just because they wanted to see my gf ID🤦♂️🤣😂
Honestly funny this old lady has nothing else to do but try to ruin peoples days.
You know that smile at the end of my photos; it’s that power hungry;
Last thing they said they have problems with their heads in the mornings…..
Why my card couldn’t open my room, I got it right after I wanted an extra day; but they didn’t work so I was let it my room and told to come back later when the system worked…. Then I met this granny who has no desire to treat...
Read moreI have stayed in many places but this one beats them all. It is by far the most disgusting little dirty motel you can ever stay in. The guy who works there is so rude and unprofessional that it makes me sick to my stomach ! I can’t believe that places like this are allowed to serve public! I was coming with me young kids, just a dad and young girls. We didn’t even get a chance to park the car this guy comes out asking me to move my car, stating it’s privately reserved. Please see the picture for yourself and if you see a sign then I need glasses. I said to him why there is no sign, he just rudely responded there is and walked a way. So we drove down the drive way and parked in this creepiest parking! As we got out I was blown away way by the smell of drugs then ever in my life. Cars with broken windows, some strange guys stearing at me while I am trying to rush my kids into the hotel lobby. Some of them were just seating in the car! As we come in this same guy wants to check us in, I give him my information as he continues with his descending voice. Here i am trying to overlook that but then he has this huge dog that showed up and wants to jump over the counter, huge German Sheppard. I backed a way and I hear my kids nervous. I continue trying to check in but this individual just makes me uncomfortable! His demonor and body language was just so disrespectful and I wanted to leave ! Not only did he look unprofessionally dressed with stained shirt he is telling me about my room. I tell him I booked two bads and he automatically starts escalating I can’t give you that when you have single. I may have reserved that but I stay in hotels for work every week and I know what I am doing. I wanted to say just give me a room with two beds I’ll pay for it but his dog is making me and my kids so uncomfortable and they wanted to leave. I told him I don’t need this. He said cancel it if you don’t like it in a very disrespectful manner.. Eventually We left this trashy property and if you asking me about the reviews please believe me, I read those too before I came into this place. There are properties in Utah where they have asked me to leave a 5 star review for an early check in ! Being here I feel 100% this place is the worst property in the entire country not just in Salt Lake City Utah. If you traveling with small children or your partner do your self a favor drive to the property and look where you staying ! There are plants hotels that are far more pleasant and professional then this what ever you want to call it. You simply can not trust this little hotels any longer !. I believe you get what you pay for but your family’s life is far more delicate and worth then staying at shady...
