Vessel's management team, is making a real sincere effort to make this situation and foward experiences better. Which is very much appreciated and brings value to the business.
Went here for the 1st time (after my girlfriend has been begging me to go) and it was a great experience, delicious, fast, healthy food, though I was given Beef vs the pulled pork, still an okay experience.. vs this next one.
Take 2...
We went again, tonight... I browsed the menu, at the beginning of the assembly line, where a blonde girl saw us, made eye contact, but didn't greet; after I was finished looking at the menu, I patiently waited, and asked my girlfriend if we were in the wrong place (because no one was helping us) she replied "let's move closer to the end of the assembly line where the last register is, perhaps this one is different on how they take orders, because the other one goes in order of the assembly line". We had a couple in front of us, whom was taking quite some time to order, as we were were waiting (forever) there was one gal who was sweeping asked another staff member (Blonde Female) if she should quit sweeping and help since a line was forming, the young woman she asked replied "no" I've never been there (dine in) so I figured that was just the process to wait 'till the cashier was finished, at the end of the assembly line, however I thought it was strange being there is 2 cash registers (one at either end of the what seems to be an assembly line) ... I even looked at girlfriend and said it was strange that there were so many staff members and they weren't helping, the gal that was dishing the food mentiomed to the cashier that the people before us had a 10.min wait, so there was nothing to dish prior to us, the blonde lady was doing nothing but observing... I later found out the blonde lady that I've been referring to behind the assembly line, her name is "Ashley"; A while had passed, and the people in front of us finally finalized their order and it was our turn next, we moved forward, not 30 seconds after we got to the register, some guys walked in, where she met them at the beginning of the assembly line and took their order.. that struck me as odd being we were standing there forever with Ashley not helping. "Sev" was behind the cash register and was kind, efficient, and curious however... (that's who gave me the other gals name because I asked for it) We decided to get it to go, being the experience we were having, and we get back to the Hotel we've been staying at, and I have a small scoop of meat, and 3 peices of Brussels... figured maybe there was more under the pile of potatoes, nope, there isn't; I got the "Good and Plenty" I couldn't believe it, being we just were there a few nights prior and I knew what to expect because the expectation had been set, not only in pictures on the menu, and reviews but because we were just there a few nights ago and the delivery was 100% and this time expectation was there and mimimal delivery was had.. it's too late to go back, because it ts now 10 min to 9 p.m...
We are living at the Hilton up the street because we are displaced from our home due to pipes freezing and the home flooding, not only is Vessel my partners favorite place to eat, but this is the closest we can get to eating a home cooked meal, close to something we would cook at home given the circumstances, and it's a shame to have to go through this.
Now I am at the end of this review and it's 9:30 p.m, time wasted, money wasted, and...

Read moreEven though the food is always amazing, I wanted to write this review to shout out the staff specifically at this Vessel Kitchen location. I know how it is working in the food industry, now I work a 9-5 at the union park office buildings across the street. I am so grateful for the staff who serve me my lunch at the many restaurants around my work. I watched 2 female employees work the line and registers. I have never seen vessel so busy and crowded with 7+ online order tickets hanging at the expo station. Your employees made my day. They were each happy to be there and happy to serve everyone in line as well as catching up on online orders. When I was under pressure working at a pizza restaurant I don't think I would be able to handle it as well as this team did today. Pressure was high on them and they handled it amazingly. I watched a single employee complete 3 online orders on a single tray in less than 3 minutes. The staff continually checked on me to make sure my order was being made as fast as possible, at least 3 team members smiled at me during my visit. It is more than just a meal, its an experience. Fast service, quality food, and kindness from the staff are the 3 things I can count on when...
