There was one teenager working at 10 pm on a Saturday night. We were waiting for an hour for our turn to order. The worker was way over worked. People kept walking in then walking out once they saw the line that was building up. With door dash orders taking priority we just had to keep waiting. Jason was working by himself and all he could do was just apologize over and over. For the prices of ice cream here this place should hire at least one more person to work a Saturday night. Given all the pressure the worker was under he did amazing, he was friendly and very apologetic for the wait.
Cold Stone needs to do better, for the amount of people that walked out while we waited they could easily pay another workers wage. Their staff would be less overwhelmed and over worked.
I needed to wash my hands so I went in to use the restroom. It was dirty like truck stop dirty. The sink looks like they ordered it off of wish it was so small I had to take a picture. This is a place that serves food. One it should be cleaner and two how do you expect someone to wash their hands properly when their hands touch the inside of the sink when you try to get under the water.
We asked why the worker was by himself, he said his manager decided to leave and nobody else was coming in. He said this isn't the first time that his manager has done this and he has only worked here for a week. The kid deserved a good tip, but he said that the tips get put all together then split between all the workers and the irresponsible manager counts the tips and decided how they get split. This place has some shady practices and treats 16 year old kids like garbage
The saying "you have to spend money to make money", really applies here. Take care of your employees and your employees will take care of you. Value them at least as much as you want them to value you as...
Read more*Edit Is been 7 months now with no resolution. I have reached out 5 or 6 times. I've emailed, called, and talked to Spencer directly, being told each time let me get back to you, and I will make sure you get the refund you deserve. I am rather disappointed because i thought there would actually be some kind of resolution...
I left a review on uber eats, but since there is no way to see those reviews, I will leave it here as well. Uber eats was good. Cold Stone was not. We ordered 2 love it sizes. We also asked to have them put in blast freezer, since it was offered, to keep them more frozen for the 2 mile drive from the restaurant. When we received them, they were runny and leaking from around the lid. It seems like they made them, and set them on the counter to melt until the driver picked them up. Definitely not "blast frozen". The second issue we had is that we ordered the surrender to strawberry ice cream. In the pictures it shows large chunks of yellow cake in the ice cream.. ours came looking like it had been through a blender.. there were a few particles of cake intermixed with ice cream and a handful of small frozen strawberries.. Disappointing to say the least. While I can recommend Cold Stone normally, I would not recommend...
Read moreThe ice cream is very good, but the service is terrible and the prices are out of control. Every time we've gone, the server(s) have an attitude problem. Every. Single. Time. No one is friendly or welcoming. We always feel like an imposition. If there's a line at all, it's a 30 plus minute wait. The tables are always sticky, and the store just seems dirty.
When we came in last week, we ordered one medium size (Love It) with two mix-ins in a cup and one large size (Gotta Have It) with two mix-ins in a waffle cone. Both were 3/4ths full when they used to be above the cup rim, and we could barely taste the mix-ins. The order came to a whopping $21 with tax. What the what? Look, I get everything's gone up, but when other ice cream shops in town are 30 to 40% less for more ice cream, you're price gouging.
It's too bad because we used to...
