natur showroom — Attraction in Midvale

I can't believe I haven't left a review for my FAVORITE place in town! Oh well, at least this way I can share with you some of the gorgeous acquisitions I have been so lucky to collect over the years.

This store is absolutely amazing!! and deserves much more than just 5 stars ⭐️. There are numerous reasons why I adore this place, but I'll keep it concise. To start, the ability to visit one place and witness the beauty and wonders of the natural world up close is priceless. I always find an excuse to stop by, and one of my favorites is bringing friends and family from out of town. I always say it's like going to a museum but you can take home little treasures. It never disappoints, and my guests always leave with the most beautiful and incredible "souvenirs" from this local Utah store 🥰.

Another reason I love it is the incredible craftsmanship behind it. I can't stress enough how talented the owners are! From creatively assembling the most incredible frames and domes, the way they hand paint them, the meticulous process of handling specimens, everything is executed perfectly every single time! 👌

But my absolute favorite reason for loving this gem is their UNBELIEVABLE customer service. They deserve a 100 out of 5 stars in this category alone. Carla and Jean-Michel are so kind, knowledgeable, talented, passionate, and caring individuals! Years ago, I stumbled upon their gorgeous store, and my husband and I have been fortunate to get to know them and their adorable family over the years. Chatting with them is always so interesting and exciting! Every visit, I learn something new and discover something amazing.

But I better stop here, or I'll never end this list. Thank you, Carla and Jean-Michel! Brandon and I are grateful to have met you and consider you friends. Your craft has enriched my curiosity and love for the natural world, and I get to live in a home filled with beauty and wonder thanks...

If I could give 1000 stars I would! I been a Natur customer for a long while now but recently I had been visiting often because I was purchasing gifts for my nephew who was going thru chemo therapy. Every few weeks I would buy him a new insect to celebrate another treatment down. This week I came in to buy the last chemo gift to celebrate his last treatment! Jean-Michel and Carla not only listen to my story but celebrated with me! They looked at videos of my nephew doing a treatment and happily opening his present I had purchased at their store a huge centipede. Jean-Michael and Carla called me back to give me a gift for my nephew because they also wanted to celebrate his last treatment! And told me to tell him “Natur is proud him and we are glad his treatment is over “ This act of kindness meant the world to me and even more to my nephew! I will be a customer for life!!! And yes I went and cried in my car but they were happy tears! Because the world is a better place because of people...

Every time I've gone on vacation for the last 15+ years I've been on a quest to find "that store." To me, "that store" is a place full of interesting, high quality, authentic specimens; from skulls, fossils, and other organic items, to minerals and metals. Well, after many years of searching, I accidentally stumbled on "that store" -- natur -- right in my own hometown. Virtually everything in this shop is unique, intriguing, and exceptionally well arranged and/or constructed. The level of craftsmanship and quality found in the shop is unmatched, from what I've personally seen across the country over the years. I really can't speak highly enough about it. To top it all off, the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and is obviously passionate about his work and the items he creates or preserves.
