After reading some of the reviews I started to worry it wouldn't be worth the almost 3 hours of driving.

Their online reservation system was a pain. I finally called. It took almost 2 months to get a weekend dinner reservation. It may be longer now.

So my expectations were low. I worried about parking, wait times and the food.

We hit the jackpot because we didn't have a hard time parking. We got seated quickly. Our food came out fast. Overall we were there an hour from 6-7pm on a Saturday.

We were seated in Apenglobe 10 which doesn't have a great view. You look at construction. I think they're expanding the restaurant. Too bad they couldnt put up a barrier.

The globes are fun. It's intimate and romantic. We dressed a little warmer than usual and brought our own blankets. It was about 34 degrees outside. We didn't get cold.

The bruchetta was ok. I liked the vinegarette you can dip it in. I like hummus but it wasn't really the right flavor. They use halved cherry tomatoes. The big disappointment is that the bread isn't crisp. Overall I'd skip it, although the presentation was lovely.

We shared a wedge salad and the lettuce was cold and crisp. They use quality blue cheese and the dressing was very good. I couldn't really taste the bacon but we were happy with it.

I didn't realize the lasagna comes with a green salad. But that was just ok because it was drenched in what tastes like Kraft Italian dressing. I wish they'd use the vinegarette from the appetizer instead.

The lasagna was good. But my favorite was a total surprise from the kids menu. My daughter's cheese pizza was the best! It's a thinner wood fired style. So flavorful. Next time I'll order that!

We really enjoyed the waffle Ave dessert crepe. Vanilla ice cream and nutella. Mmmmmm. My daughter was crazy about it. We split it. It's large so it might be too much for one person.

The waffle was thinner and so good that we want to come back for breakfast.

The bill was around $80 before tip for 2 adults and a child. They could go a little nicer with extra touches, nicer silverware, etc. But it's not really fine dining. It's nice though and a unique experience.

The service was good. Since your waiter is running in and out, you have to catch them when they're there. Too bad you could text or call. He checked on us twice I think and it was just right for us.

We were mindful to not stay too long since I know they're booked solid, especially at this prime time.

We're really happy we went. I'm glad I read the menu and was prepared to wait, just in case (snacks in the car). But we didn't need to...

If you came here for a picture in a snow globe, Order one Marghaerita pizza and split it, and get some other food on your way home - Otherwise, you're better off going somewhere else to eat Food is not worth the drive from Salt Lake and definitely not worth waiting 3 months for a reservation.

Our group of 8 went on a Thursday night. We were seated on time. They server brought out warm water with no ice. I'm not sure why there's no ice. The globe seating is nice, and clearly the best part of the experience. REALLY- the best part of this restaurant is the seating, and the food and service just brings the experience down.

We ordered salad, Bruschetta and some pizzas. The lettuce in my salad was not washed. It was very gritty and I could literally see all of the dirt on the lettuce. What kind of restaurant doesn't wash their lettuce? Salads were otherwise good, if you don't mind eating dirty lettuce. The bruschetta we ordered was good. I was the only one in our group that liked it, so 7 /8 didn't like it. Based on that, probably wouldn't recommend.

We ordered margherita pizza, Sicilian pizza and Buffalo pizza. The margherita pizza was pretty good and probably the only thing that I could honestly recommend to anyone. The Sicilian and Buffalo pizza seemed exactly the same except the meat in the sausage. The plates that they bring out to put your individual slices of pizza on were all wet. They brought out 8 plates stacked together, and every single plate was wet.

The green peppers on the two Sicilian pizzas were overcooked and very squishy. The Buffalo pizza was soggy in the middle. So the first two bites are just a squishy mess. Maybe it was baked on a wet plate or a wet pizza pan?

We never did get any drink refills during the meal and the warm water just gets warmer. One person in our group accidentally spilled their water before any of the main course arrived - the server never brought any extra napkins, and never refilled / brought her a new drink. But it's important to remember that you are in a snow-globe, and that is what you came for.

When it was time for the check we asked to split the check and they said their system was down and couldn't split checks.

Overall 2 star experience - Sitting in the globe for an hour was by far the highlight of the experience. It would have been a better experience if we just talked for an hour and hadn't...

We are so sad that this was a negative experience because we rented two globes and were very much looking forward to the experience over Christmas break with our family. When we arrived, I let them know I had celiac disease as well as a dairy allergy and the server, Cole‘s response was, “gooood luck!” (Complacent tone) Seemed very unconcerned and honestly we probably should’ve just left at that point because it wasn’t taken very seriously. After going into extensive detail about the allergies including that, I can’t have butter because that’s still dairy, and what we needed and him repeating it back, we thought we would be OK. My food came out with two pieces of gluten filled toast with butter on top so both gluten and dairy present. I asked them to please remake it without the allergens and it came back half the size half the hash and only one piece of toast. While I did appreciate that they told me they toasted the bread separately nowhere near their communal toaster I was sad to see that it was half the food when it was done right. My husband loves waffles, and unfortunately, his came out completely, soggy, not cooked all the way with canned peaches on top. We also sat and waited for just basic cups of water for 20 minutes or more and every time the waiter came to talk to us he would leave the snow globe open while chatting so we got really cold with our toes, freezing specifically. We had two globes with our families and one of the globes got food 20+ minutes before the other. The whole experience took over two hours as well, which was disappointing for a simple breakfast. We asked to speak to the manager so that we could let them know our experience so we could hopefully give them feedback to improve. He walked by us multiple times and then started busing tables when I finally went and asked him if he was the manager. he listened and then said “noted” was all. Unfortunate that there wasn’t more concern. I hope they can make improvements in the future so that others can enjoy the beautiful ambience...
