Archies is always the go to summertime/off the boat place to go! Love their boneless wings with blue cheese. My last experience was the best because of the host Erin! Because of Covid limitations we did have to wait longer than expected. Getting hangry was in my groups nature so we were getting slightly impatient (our fault for waiting so long to eat). Erin apologized numerous times and genuinely wanted to make sure we got in as soon as we could, even though all of her apologies weren’t necessary as it wasn’t truly her fault. To top it off, my party assumed every restaurant had upped their dining to more than 5 people so when we added one more person as we sat, Erin did her best to accommodate us the best she could. I’d say she is an attribute to that restaurant and a genuine person in the service industry which is hard to come by! People like her need more...
Read moreCalled ahead to see what the wait time was at 5:30 Labor Day and asked if they could out our name on the wait list. Wait was 30 minutes and no over the phone wait listing. No problem. Headed down to the restaurant. 45 minute wait for deck seating. No problem as we took a walk to the bridge and enjoyed the beautiful view and weather. The hostess texts you an app for your cell phone and you can check your progress towards being seated. Works great. We (4) were seated at about 30 minutes. The guys got mac and cheese hamburgers which sounds odd but they said it worked. I had a traditional burger. Burgers were excellent and cooked per our orders. Fried pickles and buffalo wrap for our 4th person. Very large portion and she said it was very good. Attentive waitress. Great, pleasant evening out! Definitely put them on our...
Read moreI went with my siblings on July 4th to celebrate 2 birthdays. Although thos wouldn't have been my first pick, they like it here. There were 5 people in my group, so we sat outside. We all ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees. The drinks actually weren't bad, but what really got me annoyed is the fact that everything was brought out at the same time. Practically no room to relax and enjoy the food and company. Apps were okay. I ordered the fish and chips, but was not impressed for the amount of money I paid. Fish was thin, and the breading was just weird. Not sure if it was a cornmeal base, but it just didn't sit right. I barely got through half a piece. For the $213 tab, definitely not worth it. If management happens to read this, you might want to suggest that your servers inquire if guests want all food at...
