Wendy's — Restaurant in Milford

On December 23, 2024 I stopped at Wendy's on Bridgeport Ave to pick up dinner after a trip to urgent care. I did not receive a receipt, so I can only estimate the time, but it was in the eight p.m. ballpark.)

This was the ABSOLUTE WORST FOOD I have ever received! I ordered: a junior bacon cheeseburger, a baked potato, and a salad.

The salad was O.K., although I never received dressing. (Luckily I had some at home.)The burger, however, was THE ABSOLUTE WORST BURGER I HAVE EVER RECEIVED, BAR NON. Two TOTALLY INCINERATED burger patties with some melted cheese (no lettuce, tomato or anything) on a roll.

I took two bites, and tossed the rest. The baked potato didn't appear to be any better, so I just tossed that too. Even my cats refused to eat any of it!

I couldn't really see behind the counter except for the girl who was waiting on my food. However, I heard A LOT of laughter and roughhousing going on back there! I don't have any issue at all with socializing while you work, so long as you can perform your job, but the food was SO AWFUL that clearly was not the case here.

As a rule, I prefer Wendy's to McDonalds, but I will NEVER purchase food at your...

I live close so been going here on and off for years usually just for a drink or frosty and all the times i been here the service is so slow like you watch them work and its like there moving in slow motion and what really annoyed me is the other day i was in a rush placed a mobile order for just a drink for drive thru try to go threw tell me to pull up to window and then supposedly couldn't find the order in the system and made me come inside which there was no-one behind me so i don't see why they couldn’t have just taken the time to figure it out but anyways so i did i went in and stood there for a couple minutes waiting for someone to finally come and help me and it was a different person than who was on drive thru obviously and he found my order like right away and gave me the cup so i don’t understand what the issue was and was annoyed that what shoulda been quick threw the drive thru trip had me there for way longer like i feel their employees either don't care or arnt trained properly, and this is coming from someone who worked at a wendys for 2 years so i do know what I'm talking about when i say poorly trained and seem like...

Great overall, besides a group of middle aged women. They where of some eastern European decent and had very prissy attitudes or energy around them... I went inside to order my food and by the time I got it and walked to the back table the one woman shouted for me and told me to get her some soy milk now! I was confused because I dont work there and it was extremely rude she shouted how she did then told me I work here and I need to listen to her now because she is a customer...

If for some reason they are secret shopers or reviewing the restaurant (cant understand why they had clipboards) then im pretty worried about the credibility of that location due to the screwed up attitudes and stuck up approach as well as sense of entitlement these people had. Its really messed up anyone would talk to anyone else in a Wendy's like that. Even if they where a customer or secretary reviewing the property... I cant stand arrogant people, its not fair they get jobs like that and cut honest...
