China Garden — Restaurant in Milledgeville

We placed a delivery order. We were told it would be 45 minutes to one hour 15 minutes for delivery. An hour and a half after placing our order we received a call stating the delivery driver was lost and was going to call me...I did not receive a call from the driver. Twenty minutes later I received another call stating the delivery driver was lost and was put on the phone with her. At this time I gave her my address again and told her what vehicle to look for in the driveway. Fifteen minutes later and our food was still not delivered. My husband called and asked the manager to just refund our money and she stated she couldn’t do that. She stated that they had called me several times and that the delivery driver sat at our address for 20 minutes and nobody answered. My husband had gone outside several times and I had only received the two calls that I previously mentioned. I know things happen, but the manager blatantly lied about the situation. After all of this the food was cold (obviously) and not good at all. We will never purchase anything from this establishment again and will not recommend...

1 star only because zero isn't an option. Sanitation in nil here. I ordered hot tea. I was brought a cup with the previous user's lemon seeds still in it. (I had no lemons) Our booth seat was full of ants so we moved to a table. Our soups were brought and 1/4 way through I find a inch long piece of stainless steel shaving. I had bit down on it and it had cut my gum. At this point I lose my appetite. I just had a heavily used commercial dish scrub caught in my gum resulting in a loss of appetite and the owner gets mad at... wait for it..... ME for no longer wanting my entree. She wants to know what I ordered to stop them from making it. She tries to take the appetizer my mother wanted away from her as well, because I might eat it. No apology from the owner. I felt so sorry for our server. This place is gross, the owner beyond rude, and I'll never even attempt to...

Considering that I am one of their very frequent customers, I must say that I was very disapointed today. My lo mein was a complete disaster. My noodles were overcooked. I asked for no onions and there were onions in it along with some shreds of old soggy lettuce. Not to mention, i ordered the house special lo mein but I recieved the bare minimum of shrimp, chicken, and steak. I wouldn't have minded if it was sloppy but if the noodles aren't cooked properly, the whole meal itself is a waste. No refunds or exchanges is their policy so basically they can hand me dirt on a plate and it wouldn't matter becuase, "I already paid." That's very disrespectful and unfair to a good customer if you ask me. The person above that woman's head should be informed and I will gladly speak with him/her. Other than that, China Garden and my wallet have nothing else to talk...
