Satisfying Stop at Chili’s — Comfort Meets Flavor Chili’s has long been a reliable choice for casual dining, and on this recent visit, it delivered a satisfying experience that balanced bold flavors with comforting classics. I started off with the trio dip—Queso, guacamole, and salsa—and it immediately set a high standard. Each dip brought a unique texture and taste: the queso was rich and velvety, the guacamole creamy and fresh, and the salsa packed a zesty punch. The warm, crisp tortilla chips were the perfect vehicle for all three. It’s a shareable starter, but honestly, I wouldn’t blame anyone for keeping it all to themselves. For the main course, I went with the steak and shrimp combo, served with mashed potatoes. The steak was grilled to a satisfying medium—tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The shrimp added a buttery, lightly spicy counterpoint that elevated the dish with a touch of coastal flair. Paired with Chili’s classic mashed potatoes—smooth, hearty, and just the right amount of garlicky goodness—the plate came together as a comfort-food trifecta. The atmosphere was laid-back, with friendly service that kept things moving without feeling rushed. It’s the kind of place where families can relax, friends can catch up, and solo diners still feel right at home. Everything from the food presentation to the overall vibe captured Chili’s signature approach: familiar, flavorful, and satisfying without being fussy. If you're looking for a meal that hits all the casual dining sweet spots—solid portions, craveable starters, and well-executed mains—this trip to Chili’s won’t disappoint.

My wife and I frequent this place a couple times a month. Lately there has been a serious decline in the quality of the food, culminating in last night's disasterous dinner. We ordered shrimp fajitias and some ribs. Overall someone forgot the seasoning, and I mean nothing was seasoned. No seasoning on the shrimp, the corn or anything else. The accompanying guacamole had an unusual color somewhere in the green, yellow brown pallette scheme, but certainly not on the edible scale. But the 20 dollar ribs were by far the most displeasing entree. The tiny ribs serving arrived and started the disappointment by being much smaller than expected. The barbecue sauce was dry and flavorless. The lack of meat on the ribs was truly appalling. Tiny shards of meat on very small bones difficult to separate and in a painfully small ratio. I actually left there hungry. Another discouragement was the bill. 70 dollars for this disheartening and dismal meal. While the server was pleasant, I did notice she didn't ask about the food or if we needed anything after the meal was served. Not recommended at all and we won't return for awhile or will find a Chili's not in Millington.

Sadly, like so many others it seems under these reviews. Our server was very polite. However, we did have to ask for literally everything and I mean like anytime we wanted to refill or even all of the items that would come with your meal i.e. lettuce and tomato with your hamburger. For a Sunday afternoon they seem to be severely slow for the number of people in the restaurant, versus the number of people they had working they had , a drink runner, a food runner, and someone busting tables which she did not seem to be very good at because our hostess actually had to finish cleaning our table. The steaks we ordered were both cooked wrong. They didn’t bring the appetizers out in what would’ve seemingly been a reasonably timed manner. The chips and salsa came out within seconds, but then took them 15 minutes to bring a very small Caesar salad Definitely save your money and go elsewhere.

I have never seen a chilis have no wait on a Saturday night. It was completely empty. We had a party of 5 people (not skinny people) go to this chilis. They seated us in a booth that was too small, when we asked for a bigger table they told us that we should have plenty of room at the table we were at. I was hanging off the side of the seat when my father had to go and ask the hostess, again, if they could move us to a bigger table. They finally moved us to a bigger table. Our waitress was really nice but she took forever to bring refills. We would run completely out of drinks and have to ask for refills before she would bring them. The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered the chilis Philly with no jalapeños. They brought me a philly with nothing but meat and cheese. My husband ordered a choose 3 combo with a substitute side and the side he got had one spoonful of mac n cheese and barely any fries. My dad ordered fajitas and the meat was not cooked fully at all! We live in a household were we eat medium rare steak and the steak he was served tonight was not fully cooked in the center at all, it still looked like raw untouched meat. We ordered lava cakes for desert and my lava cake had no “lava” in it at all and a literal spoonful of ice cream. My husbands lava cake had little short hairs around the side of his dessert plate. We asked the server about the lava cake and she said they may have cooked them too long but the lava was in there somewhere. So I ate the lava cake anyway and there was not a drop of chocolate sauce in my lava cake. We got the bills and the server was supposed to bring us to-go drinks but never brought them to us after 10-15 minutes of waiting so we finally just left. We had an amazing experience at chilis in may and we do not live in the area. We were so excited to come to chilis again and we were so let down. One of the worst experiences I have had with a restaurant recently and we will not be back. Not worth the $200 we...

The hostess was very quick to greet us. We had a group of 6, and we got seated immediately. A waitress greeted us and got our drink orders. She bought them out and asked if we were ready to order. We weren't and asked her to come back. It wasn't 2 minutes, and she was back. We told her we weren't ready yet. She then went to another table, cleared a plate, and stopped at our table on the way to the kitchen to see if we were ready. No, we still weren't. We haven't been in a long time and were trying to see what they had now. Plus, we were talking. She kind of got pissy with us. When she came back the next time, we just told her yes, and the 2 of us that still didn't know just picked something. Fast forward, and 2 people in our group are out of drink. Been out. Well she came with drinks and bought coke and Dr. Pepper. They had sweet tea. Okay, no biggie. About this time, our food comes out. I got the soup and salad. They brought the wrong dressing. No biggie. I got our waitress and let her know. The eye roll I received. I thought her eyes were going to get stuck. By this point, it's getting late. I'm just over it. I'm hungry and just flat over it. I ended up eating half of my salad, didn't even touch my soup, and then got it to go. We haven't been in several years. The service was horrible then. We decided to give it another try, and the waitress gets an attitude with us. I get we didn't know what we wanted the moment we sat down. I'm sure she was probably wanting to get her side work done so when it was time to go, she could. We got there at 620pm. So it was a little on the later side. I will probably give Chillis another try. The next time, I will look at the menu online before I get there, so I'm ready. Also, I would like to add that they did not have just a salad with chicken in it on the menu. They had salad that was Mexican spin on it, but no plan salad...

This restaurant has the worse management of any restaurant in the world. Tonight they were out of everything including ice. I went and bought them $20 worth of ice and did Greg the manager even sgow himself to thank me ? No , but all the patrons at the bar and the waitstaff thanked me. The wait staff was saying we need to shut down cause people just walking out. Well then we tried to order Cajun pasta Togo for my father in law but they had no pasta. So in lue of pasta we worked out Mac and cheese with the seasoning and shrimp. What a joke that was cause what I paid for that was almost same as the original dish only much much less food. The kicker was when we left Greg had the lights off outside and my wife and I were almost run over in parking lot . At this point I went back in and this is first time I meet Greg. I told him all that happened and he really didn't care . All he could say was there is no reason for me to be angry. REALLY??? My wife and I almost were seriously injured due to his incompetent management skills. He did go turn the lights on at that point but had walked away from me. Yes I may have been little loud and angry but I had just almost been run over. The bartender Stefanie and the waitstaff are awesome so don't hold this review against them. Unfortunately the poor management has cause this restaurant to go way down hill and not worth going to anymore.

UPDATE: You can see the company replied down below. They asked me to contact them. I did before this post and even after they posted the reply. So twice I've contacted them and still absolutely no respones back. They only replied to make it look like they are investigating and that they care. Bit they don't or they would have contacted. Its sad the mother company cares so so little about their...
