Rating: 4.4/5 We took our time checking out the kiosk menu since there wasn’t a line, and they had a variety of drinks that caught my eye. Taro Matcha Latte ($6.95) + Oat Milk ($1) + Cubed Pearls ($0.75): My husband got this with regular ice and regular sweetness, and it didn’t taste super sweet. They used a taro paste, which was fine with the matcha latte, but the two flavors didn’t really complement or elevate each other. The cubed pearls were interesting though and fun to drink so I’d get them again. Four Season Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea ($6.95) + Oat Milk ($1) + Aiyu/Lemon Tea Jelly ($0.75): I got 80% sweetness and less ice. The drink wasn’t as cold as I like it, so next time I’d go with regular ice. The sweetness could’ve been higher, but 80% still worked. I really liked the flavor of the four season osmanthus fresh milk tea. The Aiyu jelly itself wasn’t bad, but it just didn’t go with this drink.

If you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some delicious milk tea, TP Tea is definitely worth checking out. The decor is modern and inviting, with a clean aesthetic that makes it perfect for both relaxing or catching up with friends. The atmosphere strikes a great balance—chill yet vibrant, making it a pleasant place to unwind. As for the drinks, they don’t disappoint. The milk tea options are rich and flavorful, with a great selection of toppings to choose from. Whether you like your drink on the sweeter side or prefer a more subtle flavor, TP Tea has something for everyone. The drinks are perfectly crafted, with the right balance of tea and milk, and the tapioca pearls are always fresh and chewy. Overall, TP Tea offers a fantastic experience, from its charming decor to its delicious, high-quality drinks. Definitely a spot worth visiting for any milk tea lover!

I’m giving this TP Tea location 3 stars, not because of the drink, but because of the unprofessional staffs. I ordered a classic boba milk tea with 50% sweetness, and the drink itself was actually pretty good. However, the service experience was disappointing. There were two staff members, a guy and a girl who were more focused on hugging, and chatting with each other than helping customers. They were too busy with each other, and at one point we even saw the guy kiss the girl behind the counter. That kind of behavior at a workplace, especially in front of customers, is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. It’s unfortunate because I enjoy the drinks here, but customer service and professionalism matter just as much. Hopefully, management addresses this issue so the focus can return to quality service.

[Update] I went again today and still feeling the same way:

More and more toppings and drinks out of stock since last weekend while Sunnyvale location still shows available.

Ordered strawberry milk tea again with regular ice which should be more like slushy in other 2 locations but not for Milpitas one.

Winter Melon Tie Guan Yin is still overly sweet but the staff was nice enough to help me add more tea after I went up to them. Changed from 1 star to 2.

Original Review: I’m a huge fan of TP Tea, but this branch is seriously damaging the brand’s reputation. The balance between sugar, tea, and toppings is completely off compared to other locations. I’ve ordered 3 times, and every single time the drink was either overwhelmingly sweet or lacked any tea flavor. When I asked for less ice, I got more; when I ordered regular ice, I got barely any and the drink was still overly sweet.

The Sunnyvale and Cupertino branches are far superior - consistently delivering the quality I expect from TP Tea. I was genuinely excited when a new location opened near my home in Milpitas, but now I’m honestly very disappointed. This branch does not live up to the TP Tea standard at all.

I’m writing this because I really want it to be better so I can come to this branch instead of going to Sunnyvale...
