I visited Bang Bang once before and thought it was just okay. I wondered why the place was so empty despite its decent setup. Today, I went back, and now I understand why. The restaurant lacks both courtesy and consistency, which makes for a disappointing experience. The fried rice I ordered last time was completely different today, and not in a good way. The low-quality chicken in it was so bad it made me gag. Consistency is key for any restaurant, and they completely missed the mark. The ordering system is another issue. You’re supposed to order on a screen, but if you don’t know what everything is, good luck—there’s nobody around to help. That’s why I played it safe and ordered the same thing as last time. Even something as simple as asking for a slice of lemon for water was met with, “We don’t have it.” Overall, it’s clear why this place struggles to...

Finally had a chance to visit this place and I loved it! First time having pork Katsu since 4 years ago and I'm so glad it was from here. The pork was quite well cooked and seasoned, super crispy and delicious inside. They dumpling was a really nice touch, crunchy and flavorful. Rice was tender and the veggies were okay too. The only thing I did not really like the traditional Katsu sauce in combination with the meal and I wish there was a little more rice. Other than that, the area was super cozy and cute, service timing was reasonable! I definitely have to come back and try other dishes and sauces and hopefully update to 5 stars! Update: I went to try the Bang Bang sauce and it was amazing. Went super well with the katsu, rice, and even the dumpling. Finished it so fast that I felt bad not having any left! Really recommend the...

I’ve been dining here since this place opened & after moving from the area, make sure to stop by whenever I am near. I’m not sure why, but there have been changes to their food/sauces. The Bang Bang tastes like regular honey mustard, Spicy sauce tastes like buffalo & the sweet/sour sauce is no longer available. The chicken katsu seems like a prebreaded chicken breast instead of the panko crust that you used to get before. The sauces were my favorite part about this place & now that they’ve changed them, I can easily get the same taste from any other spot in the area. I’m hoping this was a one off instance but am not sure I will return to find out.

The staff is always friendly & I love the atmosphere so I’m pretty disappointed with this experience. Cafe Bora Bora seems to be the same & still has great drinks/dessert if you’re...

First I'll say, this restaurant was VERY clean, which is much appreciated. The service was average, not overly friendly, but not rude at all. In fact, when placing our order he was quite patient with how long it took for us to decide. To be honest, the food was not great. We tried several different things; shrimp tempera, kimchi fried rice, chicken teriyaki, spicy pork bulgolgi, and vegetable kimbop. Sadly, other than the VERY large portion sizes, we didn't think the food was good by any means. I think we were hoping for more traditional flavors. We felt that most things were too sweet and inauthentic when it came to seasoning. We did not try any of the desserts, but they did look nice! Unfortunately, due to the lack of flavor, and leaving not feeling great afterwards, we wouldn't eat here again.
