My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem while we were in this strip today. We decided to check it out after dinner and I'm really glad that we did!
When we walked in we were instantly impressed with how cute it was! The decor was very nice and they had a sage green theme (which is one of my favorite colors personally) and I think that this set the ambiance very nicely. I also like that they have lights outside. They have artwork of the history of Alpharetta on one of the walls and, as someone who has lived here all of my life, I really enjoyed looking at that :) One suggestion I have for them would be to maybe play some music in the shop just to add to the atmosphere.
They were extremely generous to my boyfriend and I and encouraged us to try several different flavors of their ice cream as well as their drinks. We were so blown away by everything we tried. I probably tasted 5-7 different flavors (until I started to feel guilty LOL) and every single one was so delicious. My favorites were the Biscoff flavor and the Festive Cake flavor. My boyfriend got one scoop of the Biscoff flavor and one scoop of the Hocky Pocky flavor (also very yummy).
We also got a Strawberry Matcha and they gave us the Iced Kheer (their signature drink) on the house just because they wanted us to try it which was so kind of them. I loved both drinks and honestly can't tell you which one I prefer. The foam on top of the Strawberry Matcha is unbelievably good and the Iced Kheer is the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. They just opened a few days ago and we really appreciated their generosity and how social everyone was with us.
I felt so bad trying a bunch of different flavors but they were really nice and told us that they wanted us to try all of them :'). They seem to be very open to hearing feedback from customers and want to improve wherever they can but, in my opinion, taste-wise, this place is phenomenal and I highly recommend that you check it out. This place is 110% a must try! I can't want to come back and visit!
TLDR: INSANELY good flavors (for drinks and ice cream). Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Dumont...
Read moreDumont Creamery & Cafe is truly a gem in Alpharetta! This small business goes above and beyond with their handcrafted ice creams, coffees, teas, and bobas. What really stood out to my wife and I was their ice cream! The flavors are so unique and made with care. We tried the Biscoff flavor (yes, like the cookies you get on the plane hahah!) and it was incredible! It was creamy, rich, and full of flavor. My wife and I couldn’t stop smiling after the first bite!
I also love that they offer dairy-free options, which makes it a perfect spot for anyone. On top of that, their menu has something for everyone — from coffee and matcha to refreshing teas and bobas.
The aesthetic is very detailed and amazing — you can tell they took their time with the layout, making it a welcoming and thoughtful space to enjoy. The atmosphere matches the quality of the menu perfectly.
Honestly, this is one of the best, if not THE best, ice cream shops in Alpharetta. A must-visit if you’re...

It tastes just like childhood summers in the most delicious way. The Kheer flavor is a revelation — smooth, subtly spiced, and perfectly sweet, with real rice bits that give it an authentic homemade touch. It’s like your favorite dessert, frozen into a dreamy scoop. And if you love indulgence, the Biscoff is a must-try. Deep caramel and spiced cookie goodness swirled into the creamiest base — every bite is addictive! Finally, the Hokey Pokey brings the crunch — golden honeycomb toffee bits in velvety vanilla that crackle and melt in your mouth. A perfect balance of texture and flavor. Every scoop here is made with love, creativity, and quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly, the ambiance is cozy, and they let you sample before choosing — though good luck...
