Panda Express — Restaurant in Milton

July 5, 2023 is my LAST time going to this place! I’ve been discriminated against and the staff is very rude. I’ve been a regular customer for years and I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but my feelings were hurt today. The cashier ignored me as usual so I patiently waited until she addressed me and I told her I was picking up my mobile order. She ask me if it was a UBEREATS and I told her no, it is a mobile order I placed. She then asked me for a confirmation number (something that they never asked me for) and I told her I left my phone in the car but I can tell her what my order is and she responded “I need you to go get your phone because I don’t know if it’s you”. I asked her “how will I know the exact order and name if it isn’t my order?? I come here often and you should recognize me. She proceeded to yell and say “It’s policy and I can’t give you the food without the number “, I told her I never been asked for a confirmation but I will go get my phone to show you it’s my order. After I told her I will go get my phone, she then says that I can take my food and that she will trust that I’m telling the truth. I was so confused on why she was yelling and me like that and embarrassing me in front of customers. After she gave me my food, I went to the car and brought my phone and the food back in to show her that it was my order and she didn’t even apologize for embarrassing me. Panda Express #0854 Alpharetta Unbelievable, walked in at 6:15 to grab a quick dinner and they were basically out of business for any evening customer to have a choice of dishes. The sides were apparently from the lunch session, old and dried out with horrible flavor as if it was made by a chef moonlighting from his Mc Donalds job. I moved down the counter to see 10-12 bowls left with about 1 tablespoon to offer for that dish, only two choices of chicken and went with them, disgusting meat tasted like something shipped from China and stored in a freezer for 1 year, the server building the to go order even gave me the wrong item, one of the left overs from lunch sitting in the bottom of the bowl. With the cashier so busy trying to sell me soup, egg rolls, or a drink I wasn't paying attention to the server and what I order. When I returned home and tasted the food it only took me a minute before I cut my losses and trashed the $16.00 dinner from this location. My advice to the owner is close the doors, go back to any school and learn what customer service really is and learn how to cook Chines food, your restaurant and your skills in the food business...

I did have this marked as a five star but for today it is now a one star - for food and experience. The last couple of times I’ve been here the orange chicken has been mostly breading and not even pieces of chicken, I am a very reasonable person so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the last package of chicken they got in was slack - no next time it was the same thing. My third time being back, last chance, I asked YAN to pick around the small breaded pieces because with the scooping utensil they use you either scoop a lot of little pieces or a couple of big pieces, she refused to pick out the big pieces and asked me where I wanted her to scoop “here” or “here”. I exclaimed that’s not going to get me very many big pieces - please pick them up one by one it takes two seconds and a little bit of coordination. She refused.
