Taichi Bubble Tea and Ramen - Milwaukee — Restaurant in Milwaukee

In Milwaukee we have several places that serve ramen and boba tea among other items. Against all of those places Taichi Bubble Tea & Ramen is by far the best quality ramen and boba I've had.

The customer service is amazing, the great guy managing the counter is truly one of the best parts. His service and friendly attitude made us feel extremely welcomed and happy.

The food was incredible, I had the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly, with the two-bite appetizer and a matcha milk tea. The broth was flavorful and delicious, the pork belly was a good mix of fatty and savory. The boba was the perfect amount for the appetizer and ramen combo. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

We came in pretty close to closing, but everything was still super fresh. The boba had the perfect chew, the drinks were flavorful, and nothing tasted like it had been sitting out. Staff were really friendly and attentive. The shop is spacious with plenty of seating, and there’s an upstairs outdoor balcony that’s actually pretty nice, perfect for hanging out when the weather’s good. The menu is super easy to read too, way simpler than most boba spots, so ordering was quick. We got a few appetizers. The fried oyster was alright, nothing crazy, but the shrimp cake was a standout. the ramen had a strong chemical taste, which caused me to become very sick after eating and throw up, I suspect cleaning chemicals may have contaminated the food, like using gloves to clean and not changing gloves with the chemicals still on the gloves, or touching cleaning chemicals then the food without washing their hands, or some have said some restaurants even wash dishes with hazardous chemicals like fabuloso, Something was very wrong and I regret eating here.
