The first three reviews all refer to Vendetta as a gem. Gem is not a word often seen. Thus, if you’re not suspect, I have some swamp land to sell you.
I have been to this coffee/liquor bar twice, and both times the wait was inordinate, but even worse, the staff was flippant and unconcerned. We ordered two drinks. My wife, who is usually more patient than me, went up to the bar after thirty minutes, to see what the problem was. The two dudes working ignored her presence, their back turned, as if this sixty-one year old woman was invisible. By the way, the bartenders were gabbing and not mixing drinks. They didn’t care in the least.
We waited ten more minutes and left, sacrificing the $28.00 the two cocktails cost. It was a surreal experience, but since it occurred on two separate occasions, it became reality.
Vendetta encourages revenge, and I suggest no one should give them business. Although I live in the hood and want every business to succeed, Vendetta should close and let someone who wants to succeed take over the lovely space. BTW, a band was setting up, and Vendetta would be a great place to listen to music if anyone employed gave a rip about the customers providing them a living. It’s a travesty, and the city should have a department that closes businesses due to laziness and entitlement. The proprietors and employees should be ashamed...

They had it all - from the phenomenal staff, beautiful venue and delicious cocktails & pizza. The old fashioneds & espresso martinis were the talk of the evening!! (Highly recommend doing an espresso martini hour - our friends & family are still talking about how they were the best they've ever had!!) Bill and all of his staff truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the weekend. Bill was fully supportive of our vision for a cocktail-style reception for approximately 80 guests with signature cocktails and a grazing table centerpiece. We intentionally complimented the Italian style cafe by catering a gelato cart for dessert. The lighting in the venue is a dream for a cozy, yet elegant, event. To be honest, one of my favorite parts of choosing a venue that is not your “traditional event space” is that we were able to go to Vendetta Coffee Bar throughout the planning process and now afterwards to reminisce on the most perfect day. The bartenders were so personable that they even recognize us when we come back in - the personalization is truly the "cherry on top". We could not recommend Vendetta Coffee Bar enough!

Read moreWe had a lovely time in this beautiful Italian-style cafe, reminded me of my trip to Italy. I love the old-world charm of the place. The bartendress was super helpful when I asked if the Chai was vegan (most are made from concentrate that contains honey) and she let me look at the Rishi carton to read the ingredients, and it was vegan! And deeelicious! Rishi knows how to do tea right, and I'm glad Vendetta knows they are right to serve Rishi. We sat upstairs for a quiet conversation and the place eventually filled up on a Thursday night after work hours. It was acoustic open mic night and a lovely couple sang some great tunes. Parking can be a bit difficult to find as the neighborhood is busy, but don't give up, it's worth finding a spot to enjoy this cafe. I only had a Chai Latte with oat milk, but my friend who comes here often had a Panini that he said was excellent. Looking at their menu online, it doesn't appear they have vegan food offerings, but the vegan Chai...
