Pro and Con list:
Pros: A bright, pretty paint job outside. The portion sizes were pretty large. The salsa was pretty good.
Cons: Literally everything else.
We should have known better when there were only three cars in the parking lot at noon on a weekday, and Jose Cuervo was on the list of top shelf tequilas, but we gave it a shot and ordered the queso. It showed up, and it was that neon yellow nacho stuff that comes out of the can. Like straight out of the can. Nothing added whatsoever. I'm not even sure that's cheese in those cans. So we thought, hey we'll make the best of it. We'll doll it up a little ourselves. So we ordered some sliced jalapenos. The young lady, bless her heart, brought us out a bowl of those canned jalapenos. I was starting to wonder if anything here didn't come from a can... So we ordered the fajitas thinking, you can't really screw up fajitas, right? Right? I stand corrected. It actually is possible to make bland, unappetizing fajitas. So I'm literally sitting there thinking, I'm just going to eat the beans and rice. And then She brought out the beans and rice...from a can. I think the last time I had food like that was probably circa 5th grade in the school cafeteria. Suddenly it became very apparent to me why they painted the building such vibrant and brilliant colors. "Attract the unsuspecting passers by. Fleece them before they have a chance to complain and come back and leave a review. In fact, don't even put up a Yelp page." Maybe Nico really is a Don after all. So ultimately I spent $78 before tip on "queso," split fajitas, and a couple margaritas each for two people, and I ate chips and...
Read moreBeen there 3 times prior and liked the salsa and the food. Went there tonight and we could not even eat any of the salsa due to it tasting like they dumped a ton of salt on it. Horribly over salted. Then when we got our meal, the usually great shrimp burrito was also super salty. Felt like I had no choice so ate about half of it. But, the saltiness was extreme and gave me a stomach ache. So unfortunately we will not go back because they do not manage the cooking details and I cannot stomach eating anything so overly salted. This meal was really bad due to that alone. Service was good but they had no alternative to offer when we told them the salsa was crazy salty. And don’t need to consume dangerous levels of salt. I wish they would oversee how the dishes are...
Read moreWhere to start. Was seated and had to wait for our drinks which were nothing but sugar water and it was supposed to be sweet tea. Told the waitress our order mine was told to her 3 times. I order the carnitas and specifically told her no guacamole because I'm highly allergic to avocados. She brings out the food mine was so dry it was like chewing on a paper towel, 2 more orders had to go back and be redone because the meat was cold, then when they were brought back out the ground beef was undercooked(that's being nice cause in all honesty it was still raw). Bathroom facilities were horrible toilets wouldn't flush and when was approached about it discretely was told there is a plunger in there. Was one of the worse places I've...
