Taco Casa — Restaurant in Mineral Wells

Ok, so I go through the drive-through I order one super taco salad, three super tacos however I wanted them on the big soft taco shells. Which was clearly stated. However I was charged a super taco price for all three and they gave me the tiny shells and all the food was just stuffed in there A mangled mess. Now I’ve been to this taco Casa at least 40 times already and never had problems. But for some reason tonight when I called the manager or the store they were giving me hassle about oh it would cost you more money when you’re already paying super taco price. Also I noticed lately the last two times we were there that the food has been coming out much more greasy and has just like dripped all over the bag and very messy all over the place. They recently increased their prices but not the big sign on the fence. And it's been recently made because it has their new #4 with the 12 soft tacos. I understand places have to increase prices for one reason or another, but to argue with a customer when they are trying to explain that its wrong on the board/fence sign is complete BS. The manager there tonight told me I was wrong that their prices in the computer/register were right. When I told him that's not what I was saying was wrong. He didn't want to hear it anymore and walked away from the window. And when I got home and told my mom(who was buying the food) she called and was trying again to explain that its false advertisement to display one price and charge a higher price he again didn't want to hear it. Told my mom to call the district manager and HUNG UP on her without even giving her the number to call his boss. VERY POOR...

First let me say that the staff was very friendly and accommodating on my visit to this location and my complaint is not entirely against them. I understand that prices have gone up since Covid but what I paid for is ridiculous. I’ve eaten at Taco Casa locations across the Metroplex for over 20 years now and the burritos we got were so small it was ridiculous. They weren’t even half full. They should’ve been put in the soft taco tortillas. The staff that was making them put the beans and sauce on them then threw them on the counter to be completed with no tray, paper wrapper, or cardboard container to protect them and god knows how often that counter is cleaned. Dinner went in the garbage and I went somewhere else for food. Again I’ll say the staff was very friendly but if this is the new company standard I’ll never be back to another...
