Downtown Cabaret — Restaurant in Minneapolis

Took my beautiful girl friend to this club sat evening paid the cover charge and sat down ordered 2 drinks vodka/ cranberry the drinks arrive and they are in glasses the size of kids Sippey cups ! They had 3 sips in them at best for $17 for the round 10 min later I ordered another round , waitress brings it and says $19 please? I said you just charged me $17 for the first round for the same 2 drinks why is it now $19 she starts an argument with me that no way did she charge me $17 for the first round , I said ya you did because I paid you with a $20 and told you to keep the $3 dollars as tip which you did on round #1 Now you want more ? I gave her another $20 and told her to go away. It would really be nice if the Minneapolis gentleman’s clubs would stop all the scamming and BS with in their clubs ! It’s really getting old dealing with cocktail servers that are constantly trying to scam you out of more $ at every turn. Not the dancers as much as the servers !! I’m an excellent tipper and I always tip servers but it seems if you hit any of the gentleman’s clubs in Minneapolis your going to get scammed.

Obviously their business model dosent work with out all the BS the scams. Would really be refreshing if you could go into a club pay your cover pay for drinks tip the girls watch some hot girls dance and sit back and not have to worry where the next hustle is gonna come from. Decided to stop by DTC for only the second time in almost a year on a Monday evening. When I first walked in a little after 7 pm there was one entertainer on the floor and no customers. Waitress eventually found me on the floor and I ordered a rum and coke which was watered down with almost no alcohol. Then, to top things off asked for a menu and was told the cook wasn't coming in until around 10 pm. Are you kidding??? This is supposedly one of the best clubs around and doesn't have a cook on duty when they open. Spent about 90 minutes at the venue and left hungry and frustrated. On positive notes the staff from main door to waitresses are all friendly, professional and pleasant. Their mens bathroom has greatly improved from my last visit with new sinks, toilets and urinals installed. It's also a much cleaner rest room compared to 2021. If I was DTC management would either make sure you have a cook on duty when your doors are open or just completely end your food service. Can't have it both ways. How can you let a cook dictate when they want to come in and work? Customers want food and bar service when they walk thru that door and you should be ready to deliver no matter what time of...

My fiancé and I are a younger couple who recently visited this gentleman's club. We throughly enjoyed the entire visit and we were given the treatment of a VIP. The entire venue is extremely unique. The building is historical and they have done everything to keep it that way, inside and out. Inside is a nice long stage to watch the girls, and a multiple VIP locations as well. The building does not have a pole for girls, on the main stage (one is in the VIP), which provides an unbelievable experience as the dancers must improvise to get your attention. The staff was friendly and extremely respectful with us. The bathrooms were amazing with attendants inside (something we've never encountered at other clubs). Management handled our one issue quickly and went far beyond what would have been expected. The bar was fully stocked and we got drinks in a timely fashion. The girls themselves were amazing and there is a wide variety of girls to fit anyones type. Overall our experience was amazing, especially compared to other clubs we have been to together. I highly recommend this club to anyone, it's uniqueness and style make it well...
