Glad I tried it, probably won’t be back. The total I paid for a make-your-own with tofu and seaweed salad was $17.26 (including 10% tip because I feel bad saying no to the iPad prompt). I find it interesting that all proteins are priced the same when the market cost of tofu and the market cost of raw sushi-grade salmon and tuna are not comparable. If you are looking for raw fish it’s probably worth it, but I’d recommend plant-eaters skip this place. Additionally I found some tofu in my bowl that had bright blue spots on it (see photo). After some Googling about tofu mold, I decided I don’t think it’s mold, I think it’s possibly the ink from the packaging it came in or something else entirely. Still, it shows a lack of attention to detail and is a bit concerning. Also be aware if you order nori as a topping, the staff put soooo much on mine I ended up taking half of it off and taking it home so I could actually get to everything else underneath! They do have complementary lemon-water which is nice (but extremely lemony, close to non-sweet lemonade, so be prepared. I still liked it.). It’s also a very nicely styled place with a lot of natural light and good seating options.

Edit 5/3/22. Five stars… Ok I gave this place three chances since I saw a couple reviews say it was good one time and ok the next. Well after three times, every meal was excellent. I had consistently great experiences. Kudos to the owner and managers. It’s a great location and can’t wait for the bike trail to reopen up behind the shopping center. I love poke and have reviewed places from East coast to West coast and it’s great to have a place like this in the hood. I order online and on the 29th I ordered at 8:30am for dinner at 6:30pm and had a great meal. It’s a great alternative to Chipotle, MyBurger or Punch etc. My pictures are from my first bowl and the last about four weeks later. Give the place a try! (Original review) Love this place - what a great addition to our neighborhood. Spent $15 per person and worth it. Will be going here many times.

This is not my first time at Hawaii Poke. I love the selection of premium ingredients and choose your own factor. Today's review is on the taiyaki (fish-shaped, pastry dessert). I wanted to highlight this unique dessert as it may be unknown (yet to be discovered to most.) Taiyaki is traditionally flavored with a red bean paste that's slightly sweet wrapped in a crunchy pancake-like batter in the shape of a fish. I love the taste and texture of taiyaki. So it was not hard choice whether or not to get one. The red bean paste was smooth and velvety. Right on par. The batter could have been slightly crisper. Perhaps the batter could have been left a little longer to achieve a better crunch to my liking. Overall, it is definitely worth trying and a delightful snacking experience.

My recent dining adventure at Hawaii Poke Bowl was a delightful culinary journey, unique and novel, unlike anything I'd experienced before. I was initially taken aback by the seemingly modest scoops of meat, questioning if it would satiate my hunger. But, to my surprise, the bowl packed a powerful punch and provided a deceptively generous portion that made for a wholly satisfying meal.

The flavors were an exquisite symphony, blending harmoniously to create an authentic taste of the Hawaiian Islands. The freshness of the ingredients shone through in every bite, making the overall dining experience a joy.

Though new to the poke bowl scene, I can confidently say that Hawaii Poke Bowl has mastered the art of balance, both in portion size and flavor. It's a meal that doesn't just fill your stomach, but also pleases the palate.

For anyone looking for a fresh twist on lunch or dinner, Hawaii Poke Bowl is a splendid choice, promising a satisfying portion and a novel experience. Don't let the seemingly small meat scoops fool you - it's a full meal, and one you...

The stuff dreams are made of. I'm 20 weeks pregnant and sooo picky. I decided to try this place on a whim because of a door dash special. I think this will be one of my favorites and go tos!

I usually avoid raw fish but after reading reviews and checking them out, I felt comfortable enough to try their raw salmon and marinate salmon. It was sooo good and buttery and exactly what raw salmon should be! Not one stringy piece and generous portions too.

For anyone wondering because I was, even though now it seems self explanatory, the marinate salmon is just salmon soaked in some soy sauce I'm assuming. Very good but I think next time I'll get all regular salmon.

I am so happy I found this place. I feel great after eating it too which is important to me, a lot of foods make me feel heavy or gross or sick or nauseas, but I feel amazing.

Picture was 3 minutes into eating it and almost halfway gone. Could barely breathe...
