My recent dinner experience at the Waterbury was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting, setting the stage for an enjoyable evening.
For starters, we indulged in the mushroom soup and arugula salad, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and set the tone for the rest of the meal. The main courses, featuring bison ribs and chicken breast plate, were impeccably prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, leaving us eager for more.
However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the pistachio Budino dessert. Creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced, it was a true symphony of flavors that left us wanting to lick the bowl clean.
Apart from the delectable cuisine, the service was exceptional. Our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including catering to our 3-year-old's request for cucumber, which was a thoughtful gesture that made our dining experience even more memorable.
With such a wonderful experience, we're already looking forward to returning soon to try the renowned burger, rumored to be the best seller. If it's anything like the rest of the menu, we're in for another treat. Waterbury has certainly earned its place as one of our top dining destinations.
We were able to find a parking in the building. They have 10 spots. First come first serve. You can also park across the street at the West...
Read moreWe visited Thursday afternoon, they have dedicated spots in the garage for those dining in the restaurant for free. We walked up the block and in through the patio to get into the restaurant.
When we were seated Natalie was our server and she was very sweet and friendly. We started our course with the spinach artichoke dip- which was just okay, nothing spectacular. However our drinks were delicious and well made. We ordered the sidecar and the Cuernavaca and the Cuernavaca was delicious. Not too sweet with the right amount of alcohol.
The seating was super comfortable, the lighting was great and the playlist was fire! From Mac Miller to Daniel Cesar and Lil Yachty we definitely caught ourselves singing along.
I ordered the seasonal special swordfish it was cooked perfectly with no spice in my opinion. Nothing that swept me off my feet- it was just okay. My husband also ordered a steak dish that he wasn’t super impressed with either. We skipped dessert here.
Overall it’s okay I would visit again and try something else but I would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy date night spot or to catch up...
Read moreRead moreWhat a nice addition to the neighborhood. There is so much bad to mediocre food & service in this area. The food was exemplary. Wonderful people working there. A well rounded menu of high-quality. I really like that they do breakfast and they have a coffee bar as well. ammend: well after getting food at least weekly, sending many people to try I got insulted by staff. I let it go cuz, its empty in there & I think it was likely a friend that was in chatting them up. obviously they had no idea how well their voice carried in that empty place. I was referred to as a geriatric insert my profession
