I called in a pickup ordered and explained that it I didn’t want any Gyro sauce on my cheese fries and he said ok over the phone. When I came to pick up my order I double checked because they messed my order up before so I kindly asked it to be remade and got dirty looks from the owner and the other woman in the kitchen. Took my food home and started eating it to find what looked and felt like little bones?? In my fries like fish bones or something I’m not sure what it was. I hope that this wasn’t purposely done or that I didn’t ingest any of these things before I noticed.

Read moreI had plans to go to the Olympic Cafe but saw a JJ Fish and Chicken store close by the bus I would take so stopped there instead. I often stop at the branch store on Central Avenue so am quite familiar with the chain. The only critique I have with this specific store is that their pricing seems a little too high. The Olympic Cafe sells a 6pc frog leg dinner which includes fries and bread for $8.99 while JJ prices their's at $11.99. Similarly JJ prices 10pc wings at $14.99 where The Olympic Cafe prices their's at $10.95 and a 20pc order at $23.95. I like the selection at JJ but not their prices! Read moreI'll start on a positive note and say that their french fries were actually really good and were nice and crunchy and were not fried in the same oil as everything else. They were some tasty french fries.
Unfortunately, the rest of the food was average at best and had small portions.
We waited for almost a half an hour for our food and we didn't order anything out of the ordinary. We didn't expect to wait so long.
The area is rough and this location, even if it is tucked away is still part of this rough neighborhood.
