Always down to support a black owned business. The food is good however I wish they could focus a bit more on customer service. They don’t offer many delivery options and DoorDash isn’t able to accommodate orders (ex- if you don’t want buddah sauce you have to call in and ask, might not get anyone to answer) and the meals don’t clearly state what comes with it. Ex- lamb chop meal says sides and photo has mash potatoes but if you want to sub that for Mac and cheese you don’t have that option.

Being on GrubHub would also be very helpful!

Update- 9/23/2024

I really tried to support this business however the lack of consistency in menu items and descriptions on delivery apps is crazy. I knew accommodations couldn’t be made so I called before placing my order and VERIFIED that my meal would be like expected. Catfish ( no option to say if I wanted lemon pepper so I told them over the phone and a side of Mac. I’ve ordered this meal 3 times. Waiting to get my meal and it’s just a box with brown food. Never asked for French chows but they took it upon themselves to just give me whatever was left. Spoke to the employees again he was extremely polite he told me to get my refund through DoorDash. Only to get $6 dollars from my $22 meal that I never really got. I would have preferred my order to be canceled. Why would I pay that for catfish and fries?? I’m good...

The kept hearing about this spot so I really wanted to go check it out. The one thing I was told to try was the turkey legs. After explaining i can't handle anything spicy I asked for my turkey leg without their sauce and the lemon pepper wings. The staff were friendly but it did take awhile for my food. When it was given the first thing I noticed was a bunch of sauce. When I asked why it was there,he explained they forgot and it was only on the top and wouldn't be bad. So I kept the leg. The sauce almost took me out, I dont do black pepper because it's spicy. So this sauce made me feel like I had spicy lipstick on. I did have my grandmother and mother taste it and my grandma gave it an 11 out of 10 and my mother gave a 10 out of 10. Said the meat was tender and flavorful. The lemon pepper wings were really salty. I do plan to go back and try the turkey leg without the spicy sauce. Worth...

I love the food at this spot! I always go for the stuffed turkey leg with mac and cheese, shrimp and their signature Buddha sauce—chef’s kiss. 🔥 I usually call ahead before making that 30-minute drive, just to make sure they have it in stock (it’s that serious!).

Since everything’s made to order, wait times are usually 15–30 minutes, but it’s always worth it. The cashier—a young guy—is super respectful and friendly, which makes the experience even better.

They’ve got a great variety of comfort food too—collard greens, catfish, even breakfast items. And if you’ve never been to the Midtown Global Market, it’s a great place to explore local food and vendors.

Bonus: The owner hosts a Black Entrepreneur State Fair every August, with 50 to 100+ local vendors. You can get this food and discover a bunch of other amazing dishes. I...

This was our first time visiting. We were so excited, so here is what we got.. 2- unlimited bowls of cereal, Fruity Pebbles French Toast, side mac & cheese (which was a very nice portion, and the stuff turkey leg (pictured), man this dish was so full.of flavor! Everything was $59. And everything was so good.. of course, I thought I would have some leftover stuffed turkey, but my son managed to devour it! Seating is limited. But we snagged (2) 4-seat tables and put them together for our family of 6.. We enjoyed the music playing. The wait was about 35 minutes.. Great Food takes time! If you need it sooner, call ahead!!
