Zaffiro's Pizzeria - Parkwood — Restaurant in Minnesota

Oh, hey! So, I actually been here a few times Zaffiro's Pizzeria at the Parkwood in Waite Park recently.

My Take on the Vibe Walking in, it's got this really cozy feel, which was nice. I went before catching a movie, and it felt super relaxed. The staff were pretty friendly and on the ball, which always makes for a better experience. It's definitely a good spot if you're looking for something casual.

What I Ate & Drank Of course, I had to try the pizza, and it totally hit the spot. The crust had a nice crisp to it, and everything tasted really fresh. I also heard good things about their smash burgers and those famous French fries, though I didn't get to try them this time. I was eyeing the chicken wings too, with that jerk rub, sounded amazing!

I did grab a specialty drink, and I'll say, while it was tasty, it was a bit on the pricier side compared to the food. So, just a heads-up there if you're watching your budget on drinks.

The Best Part? The Convenience! Honestly, the biggest win for me was how convenient it was. Eating there and then just strolling right into the theater was a game-changer. No rushing, no figuring out parking twice. Plus, being able to bring my drink into the movie was a...

Apps overcooked, fries undercooked, rock hard sandwich, distracted staff....literally the worst experience I have had in ages. Paid a buck for avocado...one slice. This place is terrible. Only comped the Sandwich that was literally so hard it was inedible. The fact that I have to leave a star at all sucks.

UPDATE months later!: decided will never eat there again but getting a drink before the movie is fine. That's not true either. Staff couldn't wrap their head around putting my wine in a taller glass with ice because "the computer"...waited at least ten minutes. Boyfriend arrived, asked for a tap beer. Waited another 8 minutes or so only to have to approach the bartender when the gentlemen helping us couldn't get her to do her job. She was NOT busy but instead running her mouth about not wanting to work and wanting to "conversate because that's more important" while spewing profanities.

Are you for real Zaffiros?! Incompetant and rude...

Unfortunately, we had a pretty poor experience. We pre-ordered to have the pizzas done when we got there and I ended up waiting over 15 min to get our pizzas and drinks (had to stand at the bar for it) I had to bring it all to our table and grab my own napkins and plates. They had ran out of large pizzas crusts (it was buy one large get one free) so we got medium pizzas instead. We were not offered any sort of discount for the lack of food or wait time. I Asked if we could at least get a free appetizer ($5) because 2 md (thin crusts) was not going to be enough for 4 of us. The manager had to be asked but they honored that (more wait time) I also had to ask to get some of their complimentary chips which they ran out of and my husband had to go back up to the bar to get another beer (waited for over 5 min for 1 beer) and we never got asked if we wanted more of our drinks.
