I can totally tell that this man loathes this job; eigther he is only getting $11 an hr or its the schedule manager who has to fill-in as cashire because everyone else quit idk, but from not greeting me when I came in, to not handing me my food after ringing it up, this guy wanted to go home, Then Go Home! If you can't tolerate it/ Don't. He didn't offend me. We didn't have a disagreement. There wasn't an altercation.
I worked for Subay, I was employed for this company. I know it's fast food restaurant style work, I know that you have to work with customers face to face, but that is this job. There were only 2 people in the joint, it was silent. yes it was evening and yes he seemed to be alone amd yes no-one else wants that job but it wasn't flooded with business, so- Me walking in the front door of any business in this strip-mall equals dollar signs on my forehead. Making money couldn't be any easier! Give me sandwich/ I pay you money. Speaking about money I will not be coming back for an 5 dollar foot longs or $10 with this kind of service. I can go anywhere and get a sandwich it's not even a hot-meal or complicated-to-make food.
The subway tasted alright, my parking spot was alright, my over inflated price/ cost was alright, but you not wanting to engage in your job is felt by your customers and is Not alright. You didn't say anything wrong, but your walking off after I swiped my card said the loud part. Maybe you would be happier making pizza, Maybe you would rather have a food cart Maybe your present at your shift w/ illness. Maybe your dog just died, idk but smile, and fake it if you have too. Next time others come in I hope you at least can fake tolerating it better. By-the-way there was such a tension in the air that I didn't stay inside, I took my food out to the car and ate it parked outside...
Read moreThe water was very nice & cold & really hit the spot. However, the water cup was one o' those clear plastic cups with the little ridges, so I couldn't really get Coca Cola, as the dark, carbonated fluid may have raised suspicion.
The bathroom was clean & quiet with a familiar aroma which wafts gently around the nose hairs until it mildly burns the nostrils.
Therefore, the Subway bathroom was perfect.
Unzipping my leather_backpack.tgz file took only seconds. I quickly sorted through my inventory, disposing of two small plastic bottles; a pint of Smirnoff & 1/2 pint of Windsor Canadian.
Imbued with a tinge of liquid courage, I finally opened my red_leather_wallet.tgz file and unleashed a torrent of empty ( lightly used but still servicable ) 1" x 1 1/2" ziplock baggies, waiting until the last few baggies finished floating down to the bottom of the trash before crumpling up some brown paper towels on top of the pile of cashed ziploc baggies.
Then, thinking quickly, I flushed the toilet, made some hand-washing sound effects with the sink, ran the air hand dryer for a little while, packed up my wallet & my backpack, and exited the Subway bathroom feeling refreshed and excited.
Overall, it was a fruitful visit & I fully expect to encounter this Subway in my travels in the future.
I did deduct one star, because, clear free water cups. Otherwise, feel free to Eat...
Read moreUpdate: went in to get my order at 10 am and he said my order wasn't showing up at all and that there's nobody he could talk to and nothing he could do. My order was promised for pick up at 9:55 am and I am so unbelievably pissed off right now that my order isn't even in his system! I want a refund.
2nd update: the employee called the manager and they tried to make it for me for free but at that point I was aggravated that we couldn't call customer service or corporate to figure out why my order wasn't received and so I left because I already had began to cry out of hunger and was very embarrassed that this mishap even happened. I appreciated the offer but I am avoiding coming back.
No hours posted on main door so I'm supposed to look at the secondary door yet app says open at 9 am and the lady who works next door had to tell me they open at 10 am. I have been up since 630 am with nothing to eat because I assumed after my appointment nearby I could eat here. Will not be stopping by again. Corporate or franchise, you need your hours of occupation listed. I already placed my order online as well. I haven't been here in years but definitely will not stop back here. I would've just ordered Panera Bread next door if I knew you weren't open. Don't waste...
